The friendliest staff ever

Everything was excellent. Check in (Mr. Mossad) was quick and easy .. our room was fantastic, Taha from room service was very nice. Everyone in the restaurant went out of their way to help us and provide anything we ask for .. beach was great, animation team was good too.

A wonderfully holiday

It was a wonderful hotel. The staff were very helpful, informative and polite. The beach and both pools were easily accessible, with plenty of chairs and shade.

Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor, Cairo or Alexandra, or if you just wanna get some sun when the European grey kicks in after winter. El Gouna as a town/region has strict security so no street hawkers can come in and hassle the tourists. If you're only seeing El Gouna within Egypt don't think this is the real Egypt. Do recommend this as a part of a wider Egyptian trip. There isn't much around this hotel, but within the resort itself there is plenty to do to keep you occupied. If you're the type that likes to see the local area you might want to consider staying up in downtown el Gouna on the northern side of the golf course where there are some nice looking places to eat. That being said, a tuk-tuk is 10 minutes and £1/€1 to get there. We did all inclusive so it wasn't an issue for us. The food at Paradisio was the real highlight. Absolutely loved it. We've not been to Sharm but have had a few different friends who have and from what they've told us, fork out the little bit extra and hit up El Gouna. Make sure you check out some the extra activities like kayaking and snorkelling trips. Pro tips: - Organise an airport transfer to your hotel. We got ripped off by the airport taxi at Hurghada. - if you're getting a GoBus from Hurghada to Luxor, the local buses from El Gouna to Hurghada don't link up with the main bus station so factor that in to your travel time. Fortunately we have ourselves loads of buffer or we'd have missed our bus.

The staff was phenomenal. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone always smiling! Service and cleanliness is top notch. And the beach was beautifully kept. I can’t believe the price for the great quality. And there is a stop right outside to catch very affordable transportation around the complex.

Dont ruin your vacation by staying here

Horrible, this hotel ruined my honey moon experience and my whole overview of El Gouna. 1- The reception doesnt know their job, and asked me to pay when my stay was paid online, also did not know what my booking is. They also asked me to fill in the form twice as a girl scratched it. 2- The concierge asked me to leave my bags in the sun on the floor, and never brought it till I did myself. 3- The room is too old to be a 4 stars room, the shower drainage doesnt work, the AC is on high fan always and took ages to cool, the toilet seat doesnt work properly, the balcony door doesnt open, stains on the bedsheets and covers and the TV isnt working and when fixed it was all zoomed. 4- The staff who book activities are very pushy and asked us to pay extra and not tell anyone that we paid him. 5- We were surprised that towel card should have been given to us on arrival but reception forgot, so we struggled to find towels at the beach. The only good thing about this place is the restaurant and their staff and also the view, but they dont know customer service basics. The hotel manager asked us to change the room to a suite but that was on day 3 after reviews have been made, and we did not have time to change rooms as we were booked with activities. This hotel is basically a 4 star facility with a 2 star staff who have not been trained on customer service and quality standards, it is not a tourism hotel at all.
