Spacious rooms; great views, clean and modern. It has several restaurants with very good food in general. Just across the river; the hotel offers the opportunity of taking a walk or; if preferred, exercise in the fitness center. I would stay in the hotel again.

Booked 2 x Club Rooms and received an upgrade to larger sized rooms as required baby cribs. Room 4803 is a corner and has an absolutely amazing view as almost 180degree of windows. Club lounge is huge and good value for money. Buffet breakfast is extensive. Only slight let down is the bar area, it's in the lobby lounge although the views make up for the lack of ambience. The reception staff on 29th floor are excellent as are the concierge/door staff on the ground floor. Overall an excellent hotel with great swing pool and gym facilities. Exceptionally clean.

Good: - good views on the city and river - clean room, sheets, towels - good selection of food for non-meat eaters at the breakfast: fried mushrooms, steamed broccoli, variety of egg dishes etc. both Western and Chinese cuisines are present - Western, Chinese and Japanese food available for room service. Chinese has small and standard size portions available - fast internet, LAN cable is available - gym is open till midnight Bad: - the AC/heating system was not working properly. It didn't allow to set the temperature higher than 26' C and it was pretty cold in the room because of the large windows. The thermostat was showing 25' C, however it was much colder than that Prices: - breakfast was CAD $34 - in room food started from $10 per dish

Hotel is relatively clean. However rooms are quite noisy. You hear the TV of guest in the other rooms. Good breakfast but far to expensive. Gym well equipped but far to cold due to air conditioning. Unfortunately Foreigners are treated as second class people especially from hotel management during check out.

Unexpected surprise when I found out Marriott has a hotel in Huizhou. Unfortunately, the experience turns out disastrous. First, reservation department called the day prior to arrival to confirm and re-confirm that I will definitely show up. This was despite the fact I had already completed the mobile check-in. Then upon arrival, I was told the hotel did not have any details on my membership status. Hence, breakfast was not included in the room rate etc. Really surprised since the reservation department the day before confirmed all details specifically regarding my membership status. I think all the efforts Marriott spent on promoting their mobile app have been completely wasted of their hotels do not use the mobile app. Obviously the disappointing experience at check-in created a mood which made the rest of the stay a real let down. What a shame

Fantastic morning team with a great view to start the morning off right!!! Enjoyed breakfast every morning!! Magnificent view also of the city, West Lake and East River while having relaxing breakfast!!!

The hotel official lobby is at the 29th floor of the building which is kind of special. Check in is fast and the front desk team is very friendly. The room is very nice and with a walk in closet which is very rare in a hotel room. The view from the room were superb especially during nite time. The executive lounge is huge with good variety of food during happy hour time. There is one particular staff that I wish to compliment. Her name is Una Ji. She being very friendly and helpful during my visit to the executive lounge and remember my drink preference which is very nice of her.

My 3rd time in this brand and 1st in this one in Huizhou, I would like to say this is a very good hotel, it locates at the CBD of the city, there is a shopping mall within 10 minutes' walking distance, where you can find many restaurants there, and Guizhou Museum is just besides the mall, the most popular West Lake is at the opposite side of the river, so the location is very good.

Room is modern, well equipped and the view of West Lake and the East River is fantastic. Location is ok, within walking distance to the shopping mall Huamao but besides that, it's just residential area in the immediate neighborhood. Not easy to get a taxi at certain time so we have to walk across the East River bridge to get to the downtown at West Lake... looks far but it's ok, took us 20 mins.

I stayed here on a business trip in March 2017. The hotel is in a prime location right along the East River so the views of the river and lakes are fabulous. The restaurants were expensive but the food quality was good. The rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet, and modern so I slept well. The executive lounge was spacious and had generous selection of food and drinks. The service was friendly but English skills were not prominent among staff members. I experienced some minor communication issues with housekeeping &bellman. Although, for being in Huizhou, I was happy that many staff members could speak English. Overall, the room rate was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. There is a river-front park with a nice walking trail right next to the hotel (Dong Jiang Gong Yuan) along the shore of the East River. Definitely will stay here on my next trip to Huizhou.
