There wasn't any dining option at the hotel. Breakfast was served to the room but there wasn't any menu or options for the breakfast. I had to order the food from outside.

Huge room! Awesome bathroom!

The hotel was conveniently located to my work place. The person at reception was very friendly, helpful and quick with my check in. She seemed to take a lot of pride in her work. The hotel was a bit dated, but that added to its charm. My room was huge and even had a washing machine for me to use. The big washroom and soaker tub were the highlights and there was even a Japanese toilet with heated seat. I was a bit disappointed that they still have restrictions on opening the breakfast area. Breakfast was brought to my room, and was not so exciting. With that being said, I’d definitely stay here again.

Okay but...

Location is good. It provides free parking, although the on-site parking was completely full during our stay. The room is spacious, but quite noisy with the air-conditioner and the traffic.Hope you are not setting expectations too high for the breakfast.

Okay stay.

The location was great and the room had a washing machine, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, for me, it wasn’t a great stay because the most important parts of a hotel were not at this one: there were almost no outlets and none by the bed, the shower pressure was awful, and the fridge wasn’t cold. I probably wouldn’t stay here again until these issues were fixed.

Good clean hotel with great breakfast buffet

Enjoyable stay at kingdom - we arrived with cycles which we were allowed to safely store on our room. Free sweets much appreciated. Lots of breakfast buffet options including rice puds and jam which was yummy. We went to town on the local no. 1 bus which runs every 15minutes. Takes about 30mins to the central roundabout and costs $15. Really enjoyed the night market- very clean and good selection of civilised looking food stalls, - try the stinky tofu - it tastes great and actually doesn't smell at all

Nice low-cost hotel

Kingdom Hotel is a cheap and cheerful hotel which is good for a low-cost trip. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to Hsinchu Science Park every 30 minutes in the mornings. My room was large but the decor of the rooms could do with updating. The breakfast offering isn't great, but at least they had coffee and toast available!

Great economical place to stay

The staff was super friendly, English was a bit weak but we were able to communicate. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the walls seemed thin, either that or my neighbors were loud.

Economy class of stay

Good things first: Thumbs up for convenient free shuttle service to Science Park every morning and good free breakfast. Problems next: WiFi is barely acceptable. Your luck depends on others (i.e. if you are on an important business trip, your life is in others' hands). The hotel appears to have limited WiFi bandwidth. When there are many guests at night using WiFi concurrently it's not easy to get on, or even worse you may get intermittent data transmission (you don't even know if you completed you data sending). The condition of the room is so so. The door handle couldn't open the door smoothly. I had to try up-and-down several times to open the door (later I figured out pulling-up the handle works much better than pushing down). The drain plug at the bottom of the sink get stuck sometimes. It also took a while for me to figure out how to pop the drain plug up. Eventually everything works once I become used to the imperfect condition of these things. They work but not in perfect condition. That's what you get for what you pay. In my last business trip I stayed in the Hotel Royal across the street. Value wise (quality divided by money) it's acceptable.

Good location on noisy street

Street is noisy - motorcycles running past midnight on first night and my room was next to the elevator giving out noise frequently. Wifi went out on 2nd night all evening. Breakfast is excellent along with friendly waiters and waitresses

The interiors was a bit dated, but they did not detract from the cleanliness of the room. The bed was firm (which I appreciated), and most of the lights can be controlled by the bedside.
