They have a man that works there that has walked into the room without knocking 2 diff times. Niether time was it close to checkout. He walked in and my girlfriend was changing clothes and naked. Said he knocked. I gave him the benifit of dought but after it happened a second time it was obvious he was lying and has a problem. Ive complained and nothing was done. So beware of the pervert!
Very clean and spacious rooms. We are working in pearland for a month and we are staying here. The owner is super nice and gave us a good rate. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day and the lobby is open all night for free coffee. Which is good since we start wirk at 3:00AM every morning. Flat screen tvs recently remodeled bathrooms and good ac units.
For $ 350.00 weekly it is a good deal. All the rooms are smoking rooms but the don't smell like it. All have hard wood floors no carpet. Beds are comfortable and cleaned every day. The whole motel is in a couryard setting. Its safe. One way in and one way out. Very nice.
This hotel looks okay on the outside, but appearances are deceiving. My room smelled good and looked great. When I turned on the TV there was pornography. (First hint at what this hotel was really for!) The room was extremely hot when I entered. Don't get me wrong, it LOOKED clean. However, after laying across the bed for 2 hours watching something else on TV, I turned the bed back only to find lipstick on one pillowcase, a brown stain (like makeup) on another, and cum stains on the sheets. I called the manager and asked for a change of bed linen. He wasn't even surprised! No one came to change my bed! After waiting a reasonable amount of time (about an hour), I went down stairs. First, I ran into the housekeeper. When I told him my problem, he didn't come and change it or give me new bed linen. Instead, he directed me to the night manager in the front office. The manager gave me the wrong sized bed sheets and I HAD TO CHANGE MY OWN BED LINEN. This was a first for me! I had to remove the dirty linen, and put on the new. Even the new linen had cigarette holes and slight stains in them, but they smelled like bleach. I asked the manager for a late checkout. He told me I would have to pay an additional $5 that night, and $20 extra the next day for one hour! The next day, I asked for a partial refund after explaining all of my trouble with the room. (Don't let me get started about the tiny piece of soap and packet of lotion, shampoo & conditioner!). The manager refused to listen to my problem, explaining that there would be no refunds. My traveling companion told him that we would dispute the charge on my credit card as fraudulent given the circumstances. The manager (a Pakistani man), continually over talked him. Voices were raised. Finally, he relented and gave me a partial credit for the room. He refunded me $35.00 on my credit card. I'm still waiting to see that credit appear on my checking account statement! In any event, I don't recommend this place for an honest, thrifty traveler. I've learned that you get what you pay for. They advertised a jacuzzi, but there was none.
i arrived to Palace inn, i culd not help but notice the staff so helpful, the rooms is big nd very confy, clean and smils fresh. the place is saff it looks like is family owned and they doing a very good job at making you feel home.
The people at the service desk were very nice. It was a gentleman but when he walked out a lady walked up dressed rather "strange". Got my key went to the car to get my things and noticed housekeeping cleaning a room. What hotel do you know cleans a room at 1030 at night. Other activity seen kind of raised the hair on the back of my neck. Got to the room key did not work -had to go back downstairs and get help he came upstairs and tried the key but it did not work so he had to use a master key. The linen was dirty, spots on the pillow case, pubic hair on the blanket. I could not get the TV remote to work - got it replaced flipping through the channels and came across a pornography channel - I was appalled When I left that morning I opened my door and the man next door opened his door and looked out. Went to turn in my key no one in the office. Finally he came from outside. I will not be going back to that one or any other Palace Inn
The room was way more than I expected. It was wonderful and even included a black light to light up some art on the ceiling. Lots of furniture to work if you're in on business. Encased flat screen tv was awesome. Mini fridge and microwave. Great room for business travelers except for the fact that the wifi does not work. It's not really wifi. They tell you to come and sit in the office, or they give you a wire to use in your room, so wifi shouldn't be advertised. There is a ding to the front door that you can hear from miles away anytime someone goes in and out of the office and it's annoying. The blanket on the bed was icky and I pulled it off. And the shower was weak and the handle was coming off. Area made me nervous and the parking lot was small. Staff was very, very nice and helpful.
My first impression of this hotel is that it is very shady! The management is very unprofessional, and the overall appeal of the hotel is that it is a very low class area. I constantly felt like I had to ensure that my car wasn't broken into. In addition, it is extremely noisy! There was a door bell / chime that was constantly going off at all hours of the night and I could hear everything that was going on outside of my room and my neighbors TV and them talking! I had to wear earplugs at night! Another thing, the housekeeping only partially cleaned my room one day. They took away the dirty towels, but didn't replace them with fresh towels or make up the bed! Seriously!?! No fitness center, no swimming pool, no breakfast! Internet is very flaky! Very hard to access via the road since there is a median. Even thought I Pricelined it, and got a good deal, I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone!
Hotel looked new from the outside but the furniture was falling apart. I asked specifically for a non smoking room on my reservation and when I arrived. The room smelled horrible. The odor was so strong that several sprays of Febreeze did not work. This odor was overwhelming and smelled worse than smoke. The pictures on the Internet are "incorrect". There is no stove/kitchenette as in the picture. That was one of the reasons I chose it but now I know it does not exist. The Manager was nice but he needs to take care of the horrific odors in the rooms. That odor completely ruined my stay.
The Inn was one of the best motels I have stayed at. I got the best bang for my buck. The service was awesome. For Example I had a flickering light and I called the front desk and within 10 minutes they already had fixed it. It was great and I would recommend it to anyone of my friends and family.
