This luxurious getaway in the heart of East Downtown boasts your own private graffiti murals with only a short walk to Houston's own graffiti park, Minute Maid Park (Astros), Shell Energy Stadium (Dynamo & formerly known as PNC Stadium), Toyota Center (Rockets), Discovery Green, and great restaurants and bars like Nancy's Hustle, Rodeo Goat, Chapman & Kirby, Sekai, 8th Wonder Brewery, Truck Yard, True Anomaly, East End Hardware, and Roots just to name a few. If you don't feel like going out, relax outside on the private patio or inside by the firebox. You'll be sure to have a wonderful stay.

The Space:
From the moment you walk in with your own chalkboard graffiti wall to each meticulously themed room, you will love everything Graffiti Getaway has to offer. Enjoy 3 Insta-worthy bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets. The primary suite and downstairs room have their own sitting area and coffee bar. Relax with your group on the spacious second floor with the open concept living room, dining room, kitchen, and dedicated workspace. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook a full meal and lots of kitchen gadgets like a Crock Pot, toaster, George Foreman Grill, rice maker, etc. There is a laundry area with HE washer, dryer, iron & ironing board. Enjoy the ability for everyone to get ready at the same time with the tankless water heater. There is free parking available (garage, driveway or street). An electric vehicle charger is located inside the garage for use.

Great location

Nice location, quieter than expected for downtown Houston . In the Art district. Nice to have plenty of room to spread out. Lovely to have garage, kitchen. Plenty of nice restaurants close by. Will definitely stay again if Houston again. All of hotel staying friends were jealous!

Second Home

This property is beautiful and lives up to its name! It’s the perfect getaway and our second home for when we come to Houston. It is close proximity to all main landmarks and attractions. You can tell the host (Alissa) pays attention to detail. The home is spacious, clean, and this stay I was welcomed to a surprise birthday message, champagne toast and flowers. Fun girls' getaway

Five of us met up here from different parts of the state and had a wonderful time in Houston for the weekend. The neighborhood is a little intimidating for suburban, sheltered girls like us, but absolutely nothing happened to validate anyone's concerns. We did expect five beds instead of three, based on the description, but we were able to adapt, and nobody was unhappy. This property has been updated and decorated very nicely. We loved all of the decorative points of interest, which set this property apart from the other ones we considered. We enjoyed a comedy club and a wonderful restaurant just a few blocks away. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Houston!

Great stay but…

Everything was nice, beautiful home. With the exception there was a dirty rag in the downstairs restroom and there was no soap. Wish we were notified about a train close by that passes early in the morning to wake us up about 7ish am. Overall it was a beautiful home with plenty of space and would stay again.

Excellent Downtown Property

I came in to Houston with two friends for an event at the Toyota Center and stayed here for one night. It is an awesome property. It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for three people (and could certainly handle more) with each bedroom having its own bathroom and also a half bath off of the living area. There is also a garage so your car can be parked safely off of the street. We took a short 10 to 15 minute walk to get to the Toyota Center. I don’t know that I would want to make the walk by myself at night but I felt safe enough walking in a group. I should also mention that communication with Alissa was great. I never had any trouble getting in touch with her or getting a response from her. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here with group of 3 friends, as we had tickets to Texans game nearby. The place was amazing, the graffiti art provides an awesome Houston vibe. Spacious living area and plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds. Highly recommend staying here if taking a trip to Houston.

The Graffiti Getaway was everything we could’ve wanted in a home away from home! The location is great and convenient but not a very busy area which made it so quiet at night. The house was so cute and comfortable! Definitely will be on my list for my next Houston trip.
