I was told by taxi driver this the best hotel in Houma, I've no reason to dispute that. Room was comfortable and clean. Great service from all staff. Gym, pool and internet all good. Lost a star for the very noisy a/c in the room, all or nothing!

Excellent stay for business and visiting some family in the area. While the pool area was closed due to Tropical Storm Cindy, the remainder of the property was great. Fantastic location close to downtown, TGH and quick hop across the bridge or tunnel to get across the intercoastal. Rooms was generous in size, balcony a plus. Great little touches here and there in the decor. WIFI was a problem. Slow slow slow. Not good for doing business. Resorted to using my hotspot for most of the visit. This certainly needs to be corrected. Regardless, the two Brittany(s) did a great job checking me in and making sure I was well taken care of. Would stay exclusively at this hotel for my next stay regardless of the IT problems.

The rooms are slightly above average. The AC sounds like the bearings are going out. The Front Desk hostess was very pleasant and helpful to find a place for dinner. Rooms have fewer problems than the Golden Nugget.

I stayed one night here with my son. The property is new and very clean. I had a nice view of the pool which was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again. There is a huge library that right across from the hotel and in walking distance.

I'm not familiar with other hotels in the area, but this is my second stay at this Courtyard Marriott and I will return in the future. I had one of the larger rooms in the hotel, with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine, a sitting room with its own tv and sofa bed and then another large screen tv across from the king sized bed. Very welcoming. The hot tub with its 'rainfall' into the large pool seems great for families. I was impressed with the warmth and courtesy of the staff - receptionists and housekeepers all. I've stayed in other Courtyards with The Bistro attached and have always found their food well-prepared. Didn't have reason to try anything here and was disappointed that the Starbucks counter was closed throughout the Saturday of my stay - not sure if they don't open on week-ends or if they're only open certain hours, but that was the only downside to my visit (and the reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5). Oh, one more thing...bring your own body lotion - Marriott doesn't include it in the amenities.

We stayed in the suite which provided us plenty of room for my wife, infant and myself. The suite offers a large sitting area with a couch, chair, table, small fridge and microwave. Sleeping area had a second tv, chair and dresser/closet combo. It was a very pleasant room. The only downsides to the room were no in-room safe and the bathroom is small for the size room but is useable. The staff at this location were exceptionally friendly and wanting to assist you. I have stayed at numerous five star properties and while their service might be more polished the Marriot is providing equally welcoming and kind service and they should be applauded.

It's relatively new, very clean, nice staff, comfortable beds. It's a little more upscale than most Courtyards. Has a restaurant and full-service bar. For a hotel with a restaurant and full-service bar it's reasonably priced. It's located off a side street with no road noise. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area. The Internet is fast but unsecured Overall when I'm back in the area I'll probably stay there. The majority of competition is on Martin Luther King Blvd, which is a zoo.

We have stayed here twice, each time for Mardi Gras ball weekends. The hotel is very well kept up. The lobby is big and the bistro and bar are nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are fine. My only negative is that beds aren't very comfortable for me.

Stayed for a week in early 2016 , very impressed clean , very clean. Staff was great , food in hotel was above standard fare. Pool , hot tub area very nice and easy to access. They have a nice workout area , it's not a full gym but a lot of room for a hotel. Definitely at top of my list for places to stay.

Very clean room and very comfy bed. Great staff. Did not eat in cafe...was closed most of time. Our room had nice balcony and a couch/sitting area. Can walk one block to McDonalds, which we enjoyed. There are nice little nooks by the lobby in which small groups can sit/talk/watch tv.
