Wonderful family stay

The house was set up perfect for our family. Plenty of room for all of to be together, and spacious enough for quiet times away from others. We loved the view from the screend-in deck.The steep entry posed a small challenge, but we were warned about it, with a little caution, it worked out fine.Overall, it was a great stay.

Spring Break

The house was perfect for our family! We loved the layout and the views from the back porch! It was a short distance from all of the activities we did. The power went out on our last night there due to thunderstorms, and there were plenty of flashlights to use! One of the sweet neighbors checked on us and offered a lantern! We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Excellent stay near Hot Springs

Very clean. We stayed in January, so the fireplace was nice. Very quiet area.The driveway is steep, but not something to panic about. Parking in the garage was very helpful. Hot Springs Village is basically a gated small city. Plenty of restaurants just a short drive away. And grocery stores for longer stays. 20 minutes to downtown Hot Springs. About an hour and half to Crater of Diamonds. The Mid-America Museum was great too.Really, no complaints with the property.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay in Hot Springs Village, and wish we’d had more time to really enjoy all of the amenities in the village. They have a wonderful fitness center and indoor pool, as well as an outdoor pool, pickleball courts, mini golf, bocce, croquet. The golf at Cortez golf course was fabulous. One thing we didn’t anticipate was how hilly and winding the roads are in Hot Springs, so be aware that getting anywhere takes longer and is a bit more stressful driving unless you’re used to it. And when they say the driveway is steep, it’s really steep. The house was great for our family and little dog, except for a couple of things: there were quite a few bugs downstairs, and those who stayed in that bedroom found some on them in the night. The other small thing is that the railing to the basement has enough space between spindles for our dog to fit through, so we really kept an eye on our small dog to make sure she didn’t fall. I only want to mention these minor inconveniences for those that may be bothered by them. We loved this house and Hot Springs Village.

Oct at Casa Azul

Really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor screened in area was nice to sit in during evenings or during the rain. We played a lot of golf, and this house was on the 14th green of Cortez, so we could watch golfers play through or drive 5 min to go practice. Leaves were changing so being in a remote location was very pretty. We had family over to watch the baseball playoffs and the house was big enough for everyone to be comfortable. No cable, so need to bring a device for streaming, which was still a problem when several apps did not provide coverage of World Series in this area. Need a good heater for master bathroom. Enjoyed walks around wooded neighborhood.

Lovely, spacious home

This home was the perfect size for our group! All rooms from bedrooms, to living area, kitchen and screened-in porch upstairs, to family room and bedrooms downstairs were comfortable and gave everyone their own “space” to be in at any given time. The neighborhood is beautiful, but amenities that might seem enticing to guests with children/pets (dog park, pool, tennis, etc.) were not available to non-residents. Golf is the premier activity in the Village. We enjoyed our daily jaunts to near-by (approx. 35-40 minutes) Hot Springs, and would highly recommend Casa Azul as a great home to book.

Instructions were clear. The house needed some TLC, The A/C worked great. The kitchen was pretty well stocked- needed different size mixing bowls and odd pots. We had a great stay with the kids and grandkids.

Family vacation at Casa Azul

The house was a nice stay. Our only issue was it was not infant/kid friendly. The stair pickets are spaced too far apart the kids could easily fall through. Also, the only play area for the kids was the flat area in front of the garage. The house is nice and location is great, just more aimed for adults. Would stay here again if it was an adult getaway.
