Liked the forested area around the hotel. Staff was "interesting". Hotel is older and in need of some repairs
Had to find a place in Glenwood for a family gathering. I picked the Riverwood, while many of the family picked Ouachita Mountain Inn. I was very disappointed with our room and would suggest others stay at Ouachita Mountain Inn. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling, paper-thin walls (worse I have ever experienced), and for some reason, they packed all the guests in rooms right next to each other so you were sure to hear the other guests. Ouachita Mountain Inn didn't look as "nice" as the Riverwood from the pictures, but trust me, it is a better motel (and cheaper too).
Clean rooms.
as we arrived there was NO ONE in the office. sign on the door that said "in room 101, call the number for help" we called 4 times and had no answer. we honked, no answer. we waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the office and when we did have the man come out of his room he said we should have just gone to his room if we needed help (2 women with 2 kids) which was definitely not happening. he was extremely unpleasant and we ended up not staying
It was close to diamond state park . Loved the welding shop across the street the art is beautiful
The pool was great .. Kids love it . Made for a great evening
