Pet-Friendly Mountain Log Cabin for Couples

The Hound Heaven cabin sits at the upper edge of the open meadow with a stunning year-round view of Bluff Mountain in front of you, layered mountains to the side, & a picturesque chapel below – and of course a hot tub!

We have taken great care when situating The Hound Heaven Cabin to enjoy the incredible views, yet still be a private and romantic retreat for couples. Pets and their humans will love the mountain meadow of tall grasses, wildflowers, birds, butterflies, & often deer & turkey!

This cabin is a cozy 450 sqft couple's retreat with a full kitchen, small living area, fireplace, king bed, private bath, private front porch, grill, and hot tub. We have stocked the kitchen with plates, pans, utensils, cups, spices, coffee maker etc... Everything you need to cozy up for a nice long vacation, or just as your launch point for the great hiking and outdoor activities the area has to offer.

We provide a 40" Roku HDTV with Sling TV so you'll never miss the game and have plenty of relaxation options after a day about town. The cabin also has an efficiency washer and dryer for small items and quick outfit refreshes.

This cabin is pet friendly and we welcome your furry friends! We provide water and food bowls, as well as some throw toys for frolicking in the meadow. The porch is gated so you can let them relax without worry of them trying to make their way back to the city (which we don't think they'd do anyway once they let loose in the meadow).
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Sweet little log cabin with beautiful view

Small but extremely well laid out and user friendly. Very private and quiet. The cabin is clean, well maintained and nicely stocked with all the necessities. Bed was comfy, linens were soft and smelled wonderful. The steep and curvy one way drive gave us a little pause as it's shared with 4 other cabins but we never encountered another automobile in the week we were there. Beautiful view! We enjoyed the nightly Firefly show. We would absolutely stay again. Loved the peaceful quiet area and friendly locals.

Perfect mountain cabin!

We stayed here a few days Feb 2024, it was our first time staying in a Vrbo property and I would highly recommend this one! It has everything you need, secluded, and you just can’t beat hanging out in a little log cabin with your dogs. Hot springs is close by with several good restaurants and a brewery. Spring Creek Tavern was our favorite. We’ll be back!
