Josephine Cottage is a cool, historic 1898 farmhouse that's been completely updated for the modern traveler.

"Not very often am I blown away from an rental but this place is amazing. Everything on the interior is new and clean. Large kitchen and outside area! Bedrooms are all comfortable with their own bathrooms. Love it!"

The house was extremely comfortable.We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit. Individual bathrooms were a nice amenity. The valley beds and bed linens were all exceptional. We enjoyed a spa day at the homestead, which was very convenient. It was a great girls' trip, thank you.

This was a last-minute stay. It was an excellent choice though. The house was great! It was clean, easy to find and parking was no problem. It was a little more than I was wanting to pay but it was well worth it. Communication was no problem. She responded fast and was so helpful with what I needed. Lastly, but the most important (in my opinion) are the beds. They were nice and comfortable. There were only 2 of us that stayed so I can only vouch for 2 of the bedrooms. We will stay again.

Easy check-in, responsive host, clean beautiful home. Celebrated my wife’s birthday with two other couples, and we had plenty of space. It was well equipped with towels, and paper for our stay. Kitchen was also fully equipped - very nice. Primary access has a decent amount of steps, good to know if you visit with elderly or disabled - but it was not a problem for our party.

I planned this ski trip a long time ago, but when the slopes didn't open on time, I had to cancel. I was finally able to rebook, but then a winter storm developed right as we were set to leave. My stress level was through the roof!The host was incredible throughout the whole process—always in contact and answering all of my questions. I decided to risk it, and I am so glad I did because the weather ended up being perfect for skiing.The house was exactly as shown in the pictures and perfect for my family. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of appliances, which made cooking easy, and having the laundry on-site was a huge plus for all our ski gear. Highly recommend this home and this host!

Very clean. Close to Homestead (10 min walk?). Full kitchen, big dining table suitable for working, comfortable TV room, comfortable bedrooms. Minor issue with hot water not working in rear 2nd floor shower (worked fine in other baths). Only big issue was the rear door to house/kitchen was not lockable, which is a security issue, and the lack of communications from the manager when we raised it. She texted regularly and well initially (very accessible), but after the door lock problem was identified, we hear nothing more. If the door lock were addressed, I would give 5 stars across the board! Clean and comfortable.

The Josephine cottage was a spectacular setting for our week in Hot Springs. The spacious rooms and open floor plan gave us plenty of space to gather and also find quiet spaces to read and relax. Dinners prepared in the kitchen, on the grill and the Traeger bbq were highlights. The outdoor deck was a great place to enjoy the view. Beautifully decorated and thoroughly enjoyable!

We three girlfriends were enchanted with Josephine Cottage. Here’s why:-3 extremely comfortable bedrooms w terrific bedding and en-suite bathrooms (loved the lighted bathroom mirror ).-open space on main floor with well appointed kitchen. All the dishes, pans, etc we needed. Spacious refrigerator too.-I loved all the windows, which provided so much light-porch table with comfy conversational seating area.-Great location, with an easy 1/2 mile walk to Homestead Resort-Communication w host was excellent

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, and it was clear the owner takes great care in making guests feel welcome.
