The host was excellent and easy to get in touch with! The cabin is beautiful and is in the perfect location with a nice mountain slope that has a pasture at the bottom within view. We saw cows, donkeys and deer while on the property.
Stayed here with several fellow Thru-Hikers on our way into Hot Springs and it was perfect. Super comfy beds, kitchen fully stocked to cook you up some food, and rain shower heads equalled a fantastic stay.
Our stay was wonderful! Although our cabin wasn’t quite ready when we arrived due to a communication issue between VRBO and the owner (VRBO had not reported the booking to the owner - so notably... not his fault), Christopher handled everything quickly and professionally. He immediately arranged for the home to be cleaned, kept us updated throughout, and even offered great suggestions for places to visit while we waited. His communication was excellent, and his attention to detail really made a difference. The cabin itself was beautiful, spotless once ready, and thoughtfully stocked—no detail has been overlooked! It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. Just a note for future guests: the drive up is a typical steep and unpaved road, so a front-, all-, or 4-wheel-drive vehicle is highly recommended. We would absolutely stay again and truly appreciate Christopher’s hospitality and responsiveness!
