My friends and I brought our dogs and paddle boards, hoping for a week of disconnecting from our everyday lives and enjoying friendship and our dogs on the water. The house was perfect, there was plenty of room for 3 women and 4 dogs, where we did not feel like we were stepping on each other. Having 2 1/2 bathrooms was great and the two levels of porches were great for the dogs. We had brought a gate to put across the bottom porch to keep the dogs contained. The kitchen was completely outfitted with everything we needed. The house was located at the end of the street and we felt nicely secluded from our neighbors. It was comfortably decorated with "Lake Life" decor. We were able to pre-order groceries from the Benton Super Walmart, which was less than 40 minutes from the house. Our hostess Paisley was very responsive to all our questions! Things to know - the hill leading down to the water is semi steep - no stairs or railings. After it rained it was VERY slick and I took a minor fall into the mud - more funny than painful. There are also no chairs by the pier to sit and enjoy the water front, nor were there chaise lounging chairs for either the upstairs or downstairs decks.
