Our stay at the resort was to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate this special occasion. From our initial arrival to our final departure we felt like part of your family rather than just a guest. Everything from our room to meals was five star. The most impressive memory of our trip was the entire staff's friendliness and genuine concern for our needs. Our anniversary dinner was truly superb and and Glendy and Lorraine did a superb job of putting this special evening together despite have to work a wedding at the same time. The way your entire staff worked together to pull off a beach wedding, two separate special occasion meals, despite a last minute rainstorm, is ample testimony to your top notch crew's versatility and professionalism with a smile. A fantastic vacation because of the care your crew shows to your guests. Wish we could come back tomorrow. The entire Belizean Dreams team is superb!
First and foremost I loved the hospitality of the entire staff and crew whom we began our vacation with, from the emailing to book our reservations, to driving us back to the airport to return home. We loved our room accommodations and we could not of asked for better service when we had any request. We have never been to an all inclusive resort where we served our meals three times a day and a snack/appetizer that was prepared when we were ready to eat. Talk about amazing food! And to be recognized by name by the staff upon arriving until our departure made us feel like family in their home (country). Thank You Belizean Dreams for an amazing destination wedding and vacation! You and your staff have made us feel as if we were part of your community with you kindness and beautiful spirit. Our memory of this wedding we could never forget and you were all a part in the making. Thank you again!
We had a great time from arrival to departure. The staff make you feel at home, the variety of food and drinks was amazing, the room was superb, the view was breath taking, property was very very well maintained, the excursions offered are super.......George became a friend after guiding us on 3 excursions, I can not say enough about this place. Not like your typical all inclusive resort, more personal. Remember there are mosquitoes and other biting gnats, brung your off spray. Would highly recommend a visit to Belizean Dreams.
We had a great week long stay at Belizean Dreams. The staff and service are beyond wonderful! They will accommodate just about any request. The food was wonderful. I've never stayed at an all-inclusive resort so I didn't know what to expect (would I get bored with the menu?). I can honestly say I did not. The dinner menu was different every night and there were lunch specials every day. The rooms were great - comfortable beds and the a/c was amazing. We have two children 18 and 14 and they said it was the best family vacation thus far (we've done Aruba, Grand Cayman, and all over the U.S.) We all agree Belize will get a return visit.
We had a lovely week at Belizean Dreams. I have been planning to take a trip to Belize for snorkling for several years. This was a celebration trip for my husband and I for our 20th anniversary. The resort was very nice, maybe not quite as luxurious as I had hoped, but clean and comfortable. They seemed to try hard to have nice touches everywhere - like folding our towels into interesting shapes each day. The food at the restaurant (which was included with our package) was pretty good. I did not enjoy the seafood, but there were plenty of options. There was plenty to choose from and we definitely did not ever go hungry. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. They remembered our names each day. We had a great time on the excursions, which were also included with our all inclusive deal. The guides were informative and very nice. We fully enjoyed each trip. We did try to schedule one of the specialty tours. I thought that we might be able to plan it ahead of time when we booked through their website, but did not see an option to do that. Several days before we wanted to do the tour, we asked about it. They said that they would have to check if they would be able to get a guide for it, since they had other tours already planned for that day. It turned out that they could not get a guide, so they contacted a tour company in Hopkins and arranged for that company to do the tour for us. The only problem was that he needed to be paid in cash. We brought a small amount of cash with us and had thought that we could use our credit card for any purchases like that. We asked the resort if they could charge the price of the trip to our card and then pay the guide in cash for us. They were not willing to do this. We had to take a bike ride (about 10-15) min into Hopkins to go to a store and get a cash advance on our card. Other than this, I felt that everyone at the resort was very friendly and always ready to help with anything. The beach at Hopkins was not a blue water pristine beach. It was murky and there was a lot of stuff washing up on the beach. This may have been due to flooding that had occurred in that area the week before we were there. The water did clear up a bit during the week. This is not really anything that the resort could control. We did a hop over to their "sister" resort at Coco Plum one day for a snorkle trip and the beach and water were absolutely beautiful there. However, we felt that being near a town was a
be sure to bring your sunscreen and bathing suit the rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything you ask or needed. Wonderful food and drinks.
My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon at Belizean Dreams Resort, and we had the absolute BEST time! The resort itself was beautiful. Not to mention the sheets that are used on the beds are so soft, they'll put you right to sleep! The whole staff was so friendly and helpful during our stay, making it near impossible to leave. We cannot wait to come back-hopefully sooner rather than later! Thanks to everyone who made our honeymoon so incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
My wife and I can't wait to go back! We were looking for a unique vacation experience and find out. The resort is small and intimate; enough that the entire staff and other guests will know your name by the end of your stay. We were truly sad to leave. Food was awesome! Though they ran out of fresh fish on a couple of days. But they made up for it with lobster and other great choices. Excursions are completely worth it and were our favorite part. George was an excellent snorkel guide and hiking guide. Definitely suggest doing either!
What a great place with friendly staff that take the time to memorize your name. Every time a staff member saw us they would great us by name and ask about our day. They would all go out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We chose to have a great breakfast at the hotel every morning and eat local for our other meals. I loved this place and can't wait to return. Special thanks to Alston, Dainelee, Patty, Omar and our drivers. We will see you all again next year.
Belizean Dreams is a 1st class resort in a magnificently beautiful country. The resort did an awesome job at exceeding our expectations! The resort is in Hopkins which is a short flight from Belize city & it is worth every penny to get out away from the "big" city & enjoy the village atmosphere. The people at the resort were all very pleasant & hardworking & the grounds were impeccable. The village charm of the roads are part of the experience & we would not change a thing! We enjoyed our bumpy bike & golf cart rides into town to buy local artwork made right in the shops not trinkets made somewhere else. We felt very safe at Belizean Dreams & while exploring the town of Hopkins. The front staff was very accommodating & helped out with all our needs. Patti was particularly helpful at answering all my endless questions with a bright smile on her face. Thanks Patti!! The food & wait staff were first class as well & we enjoyed the variety of meals. Due to weather & no fault of their own as there was a problem with one of the hand cranked ferries that would have been required to get us to the Mayan Ruin trip we were not able to go. However, Andrew the manager worked some magic & we were able to go to some alternate ruins which were off the beaten path & was likely much better than one of the more touristy areas. Andrew the owners are lucky to have you there troubleshooting various things & working hard behind the scenes. Just another example of the details that continue to make them the top resort! We were fortunate to go on multiple day trips with the resort-- the alternate Mayan ruins, snorkeling twice, zip lining & cave tubing, monkey river, & a chocolate tour. The guides that took us were very knowledgeable & passionate about sharing the beauty of their country. The tours were incredible & my personal don't miss were the zip lining/cave tubing & snorkeling. With out a doubt George was an incredible tour guide & he made each trip very special with his attention to detail & his varied knowledge. George if you are ever in the eastern US look me up!! Belizean Dreams will help set up additional trips & if you are a birder like myself & you go during the "birding offseason" yet still want that chance to see a toucan get them to hook you up with Golden in town he was incredible & did an awesome job! If you are even considering going to Belize look no further this is the place for YOU! It was an incredible vacation experience!!!!
