Beautiful village in handy location. Charming room and all mod cons bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food pretty good although full Derbyshire breakfast could have been cooked a bit longer for my liking.

Everything you want from a country pub

Fantastic stay, great pub, amazing home cooked food. Simple menu but everything done very well. Proper chef with flair at work here. Room very nice. A warming pub on a cold winter’s day. 10/10 from us.

Lovely cosy and welcoming pub in the Peak District in the pretty village of Foolow. Really large room with a big bathroom too. Very friendly staff and a great Sunday dinner and breakfast the next morning. Lots of great walks nearby to Eyam ,Sir William Hill and Bretton. We really enjoyed our great value stay and would love to return.
