Mellow Yellow did NOT disappoint, from the very 1st message to Melinda the Owner and her communication back and for and answering tons of questions, making sure we would be okay and have all we needed, that what we were brining was good too, she was on Point! So arrival was here, getting to the gates of Mellow Yellow and its cute and homey welcome feel, great yard, our golf carts were waiting as promised from the cart place, to the cleaning lady was also, there to greet us, she was so kind & make sure we were okay, house was adorable and comfy to fit 10 of us with an upstairs, downstairs (they are not connected) you walk up a deck to get to each other) but this worked amazing to put part of the kids etc. downstairs that was our cooking quarters too. All we brought all we needed to cook daily food wise! All accommodations from towels, coffee makers, plates, cups, and more were there. Okay, back to the upstairs the view and the deck make the whole house, we lived on the back deck when we were all there, from Morning coffee, to Yoga, evening cocktails and a couple slept on deck 1 night, out there is spectacular and a walk down the stairs to the Ocean, washer and drying to do laundry, beds all comfy, AC works great, such a convent location to all from the Firefly restaurant, to our dock, to Hope Town (5min cart) , Location perfect. I will stop here or may run out of space lol. See you again Mellow Yellow! Ps. Milo my service dog so enjoyed he, befriended the whole island.

I personally think the price for the house is not justified. Melinda our host was fantastic, but the overall impression of the property is not worth that kind of money.A 5 bedroom house with no dining table that can seat more than 5 people, The bathrooms and kitchens could use some renovations and the overall feel while staying there is more crowded than spacious. We actually live in the Bahamas and know about the insane increase in the price of house rentals, especially in Hope Town, but this is just a bit too much.

Awesome Place!

Mellow Yellow was wonderful. It was exactly as nice as the listing (and we know that a lot of rentals are not). Beautiful ocean view, clean, spacious rooms, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. It was great and exceeded our expectations
