Nestled into the hillside at the base of the famous Second Street steps, our boutique hotel invites guests to experience the perfect blend of contemporary elegance and timeless charm in one of four luxury flats. Discover the allure of Hood River and the greater Columbia River Gorge from your doorstep, in this one of a kind location in the heart of the historic Central Business District.

The Retreat (Condo 101)

This is the perfect location for couples seeking a romantic getaway and those seeking a cozy retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Taking inspiration from restored Sicilian villas, The Retreat is situated within the stone foundation of original Horsefeathers building (built in 1889) and features exposed beams, a full kitchen and custom king-sized bed, expansive windows, travertine tile floors, a Jotul gas fireplace and large northern-facing deck.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and an ironing board. Change of towels is available on request.
