Check in was easy. Went up and entered with door code that was provided prior to our arrival. This unit is absolutely beautiful, well kept up and updated. The view is very nice. Your balcony faces east with views of the beach, Hilton Hotel and also Diamond Head in the horizon. You will also have a great view of the fireworks the Hilton puts on every friday at 7:45pm. The bed is very comfortable with great sheets and pillows. The couch is firm and comfortable. We really appreciated the kitchen and all the essentials like knives, pans, plates, forks and spoons, coffee maker, an assortment of cups and even a rice cooker. There are 2 foldable beach chairs and a cooler they provide for your use. Beach towels are also provided. The bathroom is spacious and shower is great with a strong shower head. The unit is the first from the elevators which makes for a easy walk to the laundry room and trash room. The only thing we didnt like about the unit was the entry door. No dead bolt for added security and the door does not sit tight to the strike plate. It has about a 1/2 inch gap and play to it. We enjoyed our stay here and would use this unit again if we're in Waikiki again. Hopefully they can address the door issue, making this unit perfect.

Good location but!

A lot of old people. Fireworks is not everyday and Luau not every day. Additionally there was no hand soap or bath soap. So you come in the first day and use the toilet but you can’t wash your hands. Albeit, the host remedied that the next day.

Great stay in Oahu

A very nice, comfortable apartment in the Ilikai Hotel. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was beautiful, balcony had a nice view, and it was great to have a full kitchen. The property was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and easy public transportation. Check-in/out was easy, and management communicated well. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, cute condo, amazing ocean, the lagoon and waterfront were a dream! The ocean views from the patio were unreal. Condo had everything I needed, even beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards! Nice hotel, condo, and pool, great location walkable to everything! Would stay again!

Hawaiian Paradise (Beyond Expectations - Breathtaking Views!)

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our family of 3 had an incredible stay from 10/31 to 11/6 at this Hawaiian paradise! The location exceeded all our expectations. The views were simply breathtaking—something out of a dream! The posting doesn't reflect the beauty of this location. We enjoyed every moment spent here. Walking distance to the lagoon, beach, magic Island, and multiple stores including one those at the lobby. You can ask the valet for help to carry your bags or groceries to your room and for a small charge they will assist you with that. We paid $5 for them to take our groceries to our room. The accommodations were great, providing us with everything we needed for the whole week. Lots of towels, 2 sets to go snorkeling, beach chairs, laundry detergent, a few bottles of hawaiian water in the fridge, and below the TV they have a folder with the rules and information of the island with suggestions as well on where to go to, including a map. We found the amenities and the overall atmosphere of the property perfect for unwinding and enjoying quality family time. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. You can communicate through text message and they respond right away. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an escape with breathtaking views. We are now planning our next year trip and we look forward to staying here again. Thank you for making our first time in Hawaii unforgettable!

The greatest stay

I booked this property through Vrvo and at first i was worried that this place was too good to be true, but let me confirm its an amazing place to stay. We stayed in condo 1928 and it was the most perfect place to enjoy 9 days in Oahu. I love that they have a good shower head (thats important to me). Plus this place has everything one needs for a great vacation. I can thank the property management enough but being honest in their description of this place. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely coming back and choosing this particular place to stay. Mahalo 🥰💯❤️

Great condo and location!

The condo was comfy and loved the view we had of the lagoon and ocean. Our girls loved swimming in the lagoon versus the beach. Valet was pretty quick except when there was a rush but overall we didn’t have any issues. We appreciated the extra towels so we weren’t limited to using the same one all week.

Wonderful. Really.

This rental is actually better than what is pictured! The photos show a couch that is a futon style, when it is actually a sofa couch with a hide-a bed. It was extra clean and had everything I needed. I appreciated the explicit instructions from the property managers. They are wonderful communicators and super responsive. There is mini mart is just downstairs and super convenient for picking up coffee and creamer and eggs, or whatever. There is also a wonderful Poke Bowl place in lobby. Transportation is easy, as there is a city bus from the airport that costs $3.00 and it dropped me off literally in front of the Ilikai. Lots of local tours pick up right at Ilikai or at the nearby Hilton. If I had one improvement, it would be the addition of a screen door on the lanai door, because I wasn't so sure about leaving it open to catch the breeze, afraid of inviting bugs in... it turned out to be a non-issue, but I'd still prefer a screen. Another nice fix would be if drapes were customized so that they could be closed with the AC on... the drapes kept falling over the AC unit until I strategically folded them and weighed them down. Those are not complaints, just comments for improvements, because I do not have any real complaints! A perfect stay, all in all.

Just right

The condo was a bit small (it’d have been perfect for a couple), but it fit our family of three well enough. It was very clean and the amenities were perfect. The hotel/condo building was nice, but during our stay quite crowded, meaning potential delays for the an elevator ride. Overall very pleasant though.

Older slightly rundown property

Overall it was just ok. The water pressure in the bathroom was a trickle, hard to even rinse out your hair. The air conditioning worked but we needed earplugs to sleep, didn’t feel safe sleeping with the patio door open. It’s an older property that needs improvements.

Anniversary Vacation was amazing

Few improvements would be a 5/5

The location of this property is EXCELLENT! Walking distance to everything if you don’t mind a 15-20 min walk along the beach to get to Waikiki for more shopping, activities and food. It is nice that this property has a few restaurants, coffee shop, convenience mart and ice cream place in the lobby area. ABC stores across the street were convenient as well. The large lanai overlooking the lagoon and the ocean was one of our favorite parts. We stayed here for 4 nights with our two toddlers- it as a tight squeeze but definitely more spacious than a hotel room. The added kitchen was a great bonus, and laundry facilities down the hall was convenient. Property management staff was attentive to our requests and courteous. One thing to note is that you must make sure the door is locked before you leave, or else someone can walk right in without the code. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. As I was putting our toiletries on the shelves I found a previous guest’s used Covid test. My 1 year old also found an unmarked pill on the balcony that must have been missed as well. Luckily, he handed it to my husband or else that could have been very scary. Other than that everything else made for a great stay.
