**THIS IS A LEGAL VACATION RENTAL** Clean and spacious two-bedroom, two bath condo at The Ilikai with high-end furnishings and gorgeous tile floors throughout. This 7th floor suite is fully furnished with 1king size bed in the master bedroom, 1 full size and 1 twin size bed in the second bedroom, 2 futon sofa beds in the living room, and two separate private lanais! It will accommodate up to 6 people. Located on the cooler side of the building, relax and enjoy the split air conditioning in this 1,000 square foot suite while you watch the high-def TV in the living room or take a nap. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics you need to enjoy home cooking during your stay, including a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, and all the basic cookware, dishware, and utensils.

Free high-speed internet and WI-fi provided, with dedicated router in the room for great connectivity and speed. A/C keeps you cool inside and the spacious balcony is perfect for outdoor relaxing and classic in-room private resort dining. The Ilikai features a newly renovated pool, on-site restaurants, cafes and convenience store. Located in a prime location adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and close to shopping by day at the Ala Moana Shopping Center, the convention center or the bustling nightlife of the Waikiki strip, you are close to it all. The lobby and property entry has the feeling of the Hawaiian Ohana and steps away from Waikiki Beach and the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. And the beach is just steps from your door!

Parking is available and is paid directly on site: $45/day valet parking. at the Ilikai, $33/day self-parking at the Marina Garage next door, or self parking in the harbor lots behind the hotel for $1/hr with the ability to ad time by phone or online. (*Parking rates subject to change)

The Ilikai Resort and Hotel is a great place if you want to be in the heart of Waikiki, and especially if you are looking for somewhere that isn't as pricey as the high hotels just a block away.The building is a little older than what the images on the listing imply, however the unit was spacious and comfortable. My only real complaint is that the kitchen was lacking some basic necessities to make it functional. Basics like more than one dish cloth, no kettle to boil water, no colander to strain anything and so on, make cooking a little more complicated than it should be. The other thing I would take into consideration, the street noise...the windows and sliding doors do nothing to block out the very busy and loud Ala Moana road just below the unit. If you are a light sleeper be prepared to be up with all the delivery drivers doing their runs at 6 am.Otherwise I would recommend unit 709 as a great place to enjoy the Waikiki and surrounding area.

Lovely condo unit in a great location.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a comfortable stay in this Ilikai unit. This iconic building is in a great location. We could easily walk to the beaches, shops, restaurants etc. The unit was nicely decorated and has a functional floor plan with plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/glassware/pots and pans. The two balconies are nice, but there is a lot of road noise if planning to sit out. The two pools were very nice. However, because it is such a large building, they get quite crowded. It is better to be at the beach. My only complaint was the towel/laundry situation. We have stayed in a lot of different condos in Hawaii over many years (all the islands). This is the first time that we did not have in-suite washer and dryer. I don't know if it is an owner or rental agency decision, but we were supplied with a very small number of towels - only one each. Every floor of the Ilikai has a laundry room. I could have washed towels. But who wants to spend several hours in a Laundromat during a one week vacation? If the owner or rental agency did not want leave us more towels, it would have been nice for them to bring us a new set part way through the week. It was kind of ick for us to use the same towel for the entire week. Otherwise great stay in a nice unit.

Very misleading and extremely expensive. The whole apartment smelt like mold. The beds are disgusting. Please put a mattress cover on the mattresses. The beds are hard and the pillows are gross. A mattress topper would go along way and changing out the pillows every few months does not cost a lot of money, especially with what we were charged. The windows need to be changed and the TV was so hard to use. Overall, bad stay.

Overpriced and Outdated: Not Worth the Holiday Stay

We rented this unit for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, and unfortunately, we felt it was not worth the price. The place hasn’t been updated in decades and is in need of some serious attention. The front door lock was unreliable, the cabinetry was loose, and the under-cabinet lights didn’t work. All the towels had a strong mildew smell, the main window was cloudy and impossible to see through clearly, and the fold-out couch had noticeable wear with loose arms.To make matters worse, during peak season, 5 out of the 6 elevators were out of service, leading to long waits. As another reviewer mentioned, the clear coffee table in the living room is a tripping hazard, especially if you have mobility issues – it’s dangerous for older guests. Additionally, the deck railings had concerning gaps between the cement and the railing, which didn’t seem safe. Overall, this unit needs significant improvements, especially for the price.

Unit was a nice location. The whole complex was on generators the whole time we stayed. Elevators are a nightmare because of this, limited number of people in each. Power has been a problem for months according to other at complex that live there. Unit had broken light fixtures in master bedroom, dining area, and missing picture and frame in guest bedroom. Master bedroom bed had broken bed frame.

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed out stay. Having valet parking with children was huge. Everyone was pleasant and professional. We enjoyed the free Friday night Hawaiian music and hula show. The VBRO rental was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows along two walls of the apartment. Well stocked with lots of paper towels and toilet paper. The beach towels were appreciated. We left the beach chairs we purchased for future renters.

Fantastic location with great amenities

Very convenient property located within the ilikai hotel. Close to the beach and we had access to the Hilton village. The room itself was pretty standard. Each room had its own balcony and ac which was nice. There was a full kitchen which made things easier. We wished there was laundry or cleaning services as we ran out of towels rather quick. Beds were not comfortable.

Fantastic location - unit needs TLC

The location and fact this is a corner unit make the location absolutely fantastic. However, the unit itself left some things to be desired. The floors were dirty. The TVs are lazily mounted with the cable boxes dangling in plain view and crooked. The towels are tiny and old. The coffee table is odd - it is see through plastic so easy to run into. All in all it worked great for our famlily but could have been much better after some minor improvements. Thanks
