Wonderful Oceanfront Condo - 1 BR, 1Ba 2nd Floor

Aloha ... and Welcome to Hoyochi Nikko - Unit 209. If you are looking for a special home-away-from-home while on Maui, this is the spot for you. This wonderful gem is located oceanfront in Honokowai (between Ka'anapali and Napili) about 10 minutes from Lahaina Town.

The grounds are beautifully kept with a swimming pool, BBQ Area, and steps leading down to the ocean. The beach in front of the condo adds a wonderful dimension to your time on Maui ... its something special to be able to walk out of your condo and put your feet in the sand. This local beach spans the width of the property, but ultimately the prevailing tides dictate just how large the beach is at any given time. If the tides are running high, the beach might be missing, this is highly unpredictable and can vary greatly during all seasons, but there are many beautiful beaches within a short drive from the condo for you to enjoy as well.

Hoyochi Nikko is classified as a boutique complex ... it has only 18 units and so there are no worries with large crowds, or large distances to walk to get to the ocean, the pool or anywhere on the complex. Everything is right there for your enjoyment. Also, this unit is located on the corner of the building ... a highly sought after location for added privacy. A flight of stairs takes you from the ground level right up to your front door.

The main living area in this unit, including the kitchen, all look out over the Pacific Ocean and offer views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i. The lanai (patio/balcony) is right off the main living area and makes for a wonderful extension of this unit's interior.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your time on Maui and to prepare your own meals should you desire. The unit also has it's own stacked washer and dryer for your use.

The bedroom offers a King-size bed, and a window air conditioner which nicely cools the bedroom. Most of our guests agree that the tradewinds keep the condo very comfortable, but in the event the trades slow down, the AC Unit in the bedroom will help provide you with a wonderful, cool night's sleep.

Frommer's Travel Guide named Hoyochi Nikko Ocean Condos as one of their highest recommended properties. Maui Revealed gives Hoyochi Nikko their prestigious Gold Bar rating for excellence.

A car is recommended for your stay with us. There is one allocated parking space, but please be aware the parking space is small and tight. A smaller vehicle or economy sized vehicle is highly recommended. Parking space cannot accommodate larger vehicles.

So if what you are looking for on Maui is your own private piece of paradise ... a place that is comfortable and enjoyable ... a unit that is within walking distance to many local eateries ... look no further ... Hoyochi Nikko - Unit 209 is for you.

We offer you our Aloha ... and hope to hear from you soon.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

This condo is exactly as described. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so we wanted a secluded place with amazing views. We truly felt we were the only ones visiting as we enjoyed this corner unit. The property manager keeps the beautiful grounds extremely clean. If you want to be close to the water look no further. We found ourselves close to all the beautiful beaches which we took full advantage of. This unit comes with beach chairs, ice chest and an umbrella to enjoy your beach days. We will definitely rebook this unit as it felt like home with wonderful positive energy. Simply perfect!

This is a lovely quiet condo in our favorite property in West Maui. It is ideal for 2 people and would be ok with a small child. We spent most of our time on the lanai. It was the tail end of whale season so we saw many whales during our stay. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short by several days due to the rare Kona Wind 5 day event which brought torrential rain and wind to all of Hawaii, especially Maui. Condo owners Walt & Kathy were good communicators as we scrambled to catch our flight. Despite this setback we intend to book this condo again as we hope for recovery of this beautiful island.

Perfection!

This is a wonderfully located property with a private pool and lawn with chairs and beach. Ocean front and we watched whales over breakfast in the mornings. If you like a smaller community rather than a hotel resort, this is an awesome selection. Kerry was a wonderful host and the in-site property manger is available and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!!

Location Location Location

My wife and I have stayed in this condo many times and have never been disappointed. Whether it's your first trip to Maui or you're a seasoned veteran, this will satisfy your needs. Inside and out you will have everything you need. The location is close to many dining options, shopping, golfing, and sightseeing. One of our favorite things to do is to sit on the lanai and enjoy the view. You will definitely want to return.

Mr

Good location. Fantastic when the private beach is intact….swimming and snorkeling were great. However high tides and wind caused rough water and beach washed away. Apparently it comes and goes, weather and tides dependent. Unit was small but very clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Quiet and Peaceful

We've stayed in Hoyochi Nikko before, and it does not disappoint. We prefer a quiet and smaller place; being just on the water and only a few units, its our favorite. Of course, we are worried if we rate too highly too many people will reserve! In any case, a perfect score. The hosts were very responsive and no issues at all.

Another wonderful visit!

This was our second stay at Kathy & Walt’s place. Communication was great. The location is perfect, the condo is just right for a couple. Well equipped with everything you need for exploring Maui & for relaxing poolside next to the ocean. The grounds are very well maintained and the onsite manager is friendly but doesn’t bother anyone. Sunsets are always amazing and it is always very quiet. We will be back! Mahalo!

My wife and I have visited Maui numerous times over the years and stayed in various hotels across the island; and I can confidently say this property gives them all a run for the money!! The location is unbeatable, with the unit situated just 30 yards from the ocean, providing breathtaking views that include an unforgettable sunset each evening.Whether you’re relaxing with breakfast on the lanai or winding down to the soothing sound of waves, every moment here feels like pure paradise. The property is impeccably maintained, blending the comforts of home with touches that elevate your stay to a memorable escape.Additionally, Kathy and Walt Bell are great hosts, and their communication is some of the best I have ever encountered. If you're dreaming of a Maui getaway, look no further—this is the place to stay!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

My husband and I had an amazing time at Walt and Kathy’s condo. We loved that it was a small building. It was very convenient and a perfect location. The condo itself was beautiful, comfortable, with incredible views from the lanai. AC in the bedroom was helpful and we had a lovely breeze through the condo when windows were open. Kitchen was great and stocked with everything we needed to do some cooking. Kathy’s communication was excellent and the instructions for coming and going were very thorough. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Walt and Kathy’s condo!

Get away to Maui

This was our first time staying at this property. We usually stay at Papakea. We love the small complex and the lovely grounds. The resident manager is very responsive and takes exceptional care of the property. The only downsides for us was the noisy air conditioner in the bedroom. The street is very close by so leaving windows open at night wasn't really an option as the cars were rather noisy as well. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Mahalo!

Gorgeous ocean views right from balcony

We went to Maui in February mainly to see the whales. We were hoping we could sit and relax on the balcony and still see whales and that is exactly what we were able to do during our stay. Seeing fabulous sunsets each night was an added bonus! The condo was excellently equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. It is just a short drive to excellent beaches and snorkeling locations as well. We couldn’t really go in the ocean right in front of the condo because the surf was too high during our stay, but I think that was unusual. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and should we ever get the chance to return to Maui, we would most likely stay here again.
