Royal Park Hotel

Tried several rooms during my stays at Royal Park Hotels. First room: has mold on the water switch ON/OFF handler of the sink, probably mold accumulated over months. Called housekeeping, and has to use cotton swabs to scrub off the mold. DAILY HOUSING KEEPING should easily spot the mold problem if they are well trained and well managed. Second room: stains on all colorful pillows - and why put those stained pillows in the room unless guests like to hug something dirty. TV for some reason set with TIMER that turns on automatically at 5:00AM - could be a plank from previous guests or by an unhappy house keeping staff. The sofa seat is also worn out with sunk cushion and whiteness surface (instead of dark brown). 14th floor used to be my favorite, but now is a smoking floor, along with 15th floor. So smokers are being rewarded with better floors than non-smokers. Shuttle buses schedules have been reduced, with only 4 times a day. Gym: Vacuum cleaning at 8am while most guests are using the gym, so guest have to inhaling all the emission from the vacuum cleaner while working out in the gym.

Stayed in one of the suites for the week. The staff was exceptionally professional and courteous, one of the best customer service experienced. While the suite itself was clean, there was a particular odor that was very noticeable each time I return back to the hotel room. Once in the room, eventually the odor was not noticeable. Without the air conditioner turned on all the time, the room was very stuffy. I wish there was a way the windows could be opened just even a little bit to introduce circulation from outside air.

We stayed for 4 nights, check in and out was quick & easy. The room was clean, daily cleaning every day. Bed was comfortable and spacious room with large windows, we had a nice view of the river. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on the food, the hotel is within a huge shopping mall so we decided to grab a coffee and pastry each morning, which worked out cheaper for us. There is a daily free shuttle bus from the hotel into town (TST) this was helpful & a great service, it just took 20 mins and cut a big chunk out of having to take the train, just make sure you call ahead and book with the front desk. Front desk was helpful with sightseeing, suggested we took the bus from right outside to the Tian Tan Buddha & also the airport home. Both journeys were quick and easy & saved us a lot of money. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a happy and comfortable stay.

ROOM Nice and clean. Everything you need is provided. The walls are a bit thin though, and i got annoyed with noisy people in the room next to us. The views are just of the city so not pretty. Free wifi and safe. I got a bit confused with their ''green'' policy. They have a sign saying if you don't want your towels replaced, leave them on the rack. But they changed my towels every day if though i would have been happy to reuse the same week for the duration i was there. LOCATION It's connected to a big shopping centre, which also has Shatin metro. It's super convenient-it's not in central HK but Monk Kok etc is only a few stops away by metro. FOOD No breakfast provided, but you get a 40% discount for the buffets at their restaurant which was amazing. When i went, there was lobster (think that was a special deal though), sushi, oysters, mussels, prawns, haagen daaz ice cream, and all sorts of other delicious food. Definitely try out the buffet! SERVICE It could be better. When we arrived, they took the luggage off us and we thought it would be taken automatically to our rooms. After a while, we decided to go downstairs to check, and the luggage was still there and they only asked at that point if we wanted it taken to our rooms. So the porter service only look after your luggage whilst you check in and you have to explicitly tell them to take it up to your room? I got really confused.

I was very happy with the service provided. Especially the daily room service by the staff was very professional and well done. Everything was so good with the exception of the hotel internet Wifi. Unfortunately it was slow and sometimes the connection would drop off. It was disappointing that in every other way the hotel was very excellent, but this Wifi issue was annoying.

This was my first trip to Hong Kong and I was quite pleased with this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. For the few questions I had for them, they went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel is in a good location with a walkway to a good size shopping centre. The rooms are large. My included a queen size bed along with a single bed. The work space was large making it easy to do work while traveling. The bathroom was very large and included a walk in shower next to a bathtub, that also included a shower. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great size room, has space for us and even have room for a couch and a desk. Clean room, good size tv and lot of lights. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, good customer service overall.

I have stayed in this hotel for multiple times now. And the staff keeps up the high standard of providing good service. The shuttleservice from hotel to Mongkok en TST (and return) is perfect for having time over to do other sightings in HK. The hotel just have the perfect location in Shatin, connected to New Town mall and the trainstation. As well the quality of the dimsum in the restaurant hotel was great. And if you looking for other good food the mall provides a lot of possibilties. Again special thanks to manager Danny Sze To of the hotel who has made a great effort to give us the perfect stay. Thanks and till next year.

Have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always found it to be clean and efficient. For me it's a great location, within the new town plaza and Shatin mtr so easy reach to wherever you need to get to. They have a pool and gym which we used on most days. They have numerous restaurants although I only used the Chinese restaurant where you can get a discount for dim sum if you leave before a certain time in the morning. Well worth a visit but remember to say you are a guest at the hotel. Utilised the shuttle bus they have to tsim tsa tsui on a couple of occasions which i found useful. Just contact concierge to book a seat.

We stayed 3 nights in the Royal Park Hotel, really comfortable, beds and pillows to die for. Check in and out very efficient, helpful staff and good value for money. Spent some time in the Hotel bar, very friendly and enjoyed "happy hour". Would stay again!.
