Hotel is in a great location with easy access to Honfleur harbour on foot and on site parking readily available. The hotel is built around an old French mansion and retains a lot of character and charm and it a good place to stay however the room furnishings are poor quality and let the place down.

The only problem was that wifi was always extremely slow or not working. Cell service was poor so that was no substitute. Otherwise, lovely hotel with its own free parking

There was no lift or restaurant although they did serve a very good breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful in recommending some good value/quality restaurants within walking distance. We were a family party of 8 and were allocated the separate dining room for breakfast for our stay. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

A Remarkable Hotel

This was our third stay at the Hotel L'Ecrin. The Hotel is remarkable and our stay is always a highlight of our French holiday. I strongly recommend it.

Very convenient location within easy walking distance of restaurants and old harbour. Generous and varied buffet breakfast. Only downside for people of mature years - steep staircase to top floor bedrooms. Would definitely stay at L'Ecrin again but would request a room on a lower floor!
