The apartment is nicer than it looks online, very comfortable for four people. The sauna was roomy and easy to use, the kitchen and dining table made meal prep easy. The only problem was the steps to the front door - they are slippery when it is wet and there is not a railing. We had a guest who had just had knee surgery and she worried she might fall. Once we made it down the stairs we were happy as clams

Fantastic apartment in Homer, view of glaciers and the bay. The apartment provides lot of space and comfort. Everything was clean and in order. We enjoyed our stay very much including sauna. The owner answered all our questions.

A Real Gem

A great place with a great view and larger than I expected. Quite handy to get to the attractions of Homer. There were sand hill cranes in the yard. A real gem!

Great stay!

We spent 6 nights here. It is well equipped and and about a 5 minute drive to Homer. Owners live upstairs and are very good to deal with. Really enjoyed our stay.

What a view!

Wonderful accommodations in the basement of a family home. Clean and well equipped. Close to Homer Spit. There *is* noise that comes from upstairs due to it being part of an occupied residence, but I didn’t find it bothersome. Lovely and accommodating host. Recommend!

The perfect weekend

Shannon and her husband were so accommodating. The property was gorgeous with an amazing view of the bay. I love how the property was tucked in at the end of the road and super secluded. Next time I make the trip down to homer I'll planning my stay around this places availability.

Great Place

My family and I loved our stay. The listing was as described, the hosts were super friendly and had a kid around our kids age. They played and got along great. We will hopefully be booking with them for future trips.
