Surrounded by beautiful countryside with glorious views over meadows, hills and woodlands, this delightful terraced cottage, skilfully converted from a former farm building, offers a charming base for exploring the island of Anglesey. Comfortably furnished and enjoying a private patio and shared use of the lawned grounds, it stands at the end of a private country lane adjacent to the owner’s home on a working farm just a mile from the small village of Bodedern with its village and shop.



Within easy reach are great sandy and surfing beaches as well as a host of attractions including Sea World, Beaumaris Castle, a racing circuit and lovely boat rides to watch puffins or to fish. Dotted with prehistoric monuments and with its entire coastline an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Anglesey is a paradise for both walkers and bird watchers. Day trips to Snowdonia, with its myriad of outdoor pursuits and magnificent mountain scenery, and Ireland are easily achieved.

Perfect quiet location for a relaxing break and ideal base for exploring the Isle of Anglesey. Shops and other amenities at nearby Llangefni. Warm welcome from the Owner who conveniently lives on site so is available to assist with anything that might crop up (nothing did) and homemade cakes and wine on arrival add that lovely touch. Highly recommend to others but hoping that there will still be availability for us to revisit again next year.

The cottage is very clean, has modern furnishings and fittings and is finished to a high standard.

The cottage is very clean, has modern furnishings and fittings and is finished to a high standard. However, Bodedern is a small village and you need to drive to get anywhere. The owner is very friendly and helpful. For us, the only thing that could have improved it would have been an enclosed back garden to let the dog out. These are all little things as it was the best cottage we have stayed in and we wouldn't hesitate to recceomend it.
