Dear Wayne, thank you for your review. The timer on the bathrooms are 20 minutes. The switch has to be on the outside due to building regulations. There are safety notices (not placards) for guests safety. The sign about the charger, is requesting guests switch off the charger, when not connected to a phone, this is to prevent a fire from starting. The sign regarding the toilets, is polite and requests guests to only discard toilet roll down the toilet, as the toilets are macerators and anything else (like cigarette butts, as you said) would render the toilet unusable. There is a charge, for breaking the toilet of 50, as this is what we have to pay the plumber to unblock the toilet. The sign is not threatening, but informative. We wish you well, best regards.
