The Salty Snail - Oceanfront Cottage
Our beautiful cottage comfortably sleeps six. Spacious deck highlights the amazing oceanfront views. Spacious gathering room and all stainless appliances. Beds made and linens/towels provided for each guest. Huge back porch boasts outdoor dining area, adirondack chairs, outdoor shower and private beach access.
Our cottage is clean, bright and beachy. There are beautiful, light floors throughout and ceramic tile in the bathroom.
The primary suite yields a queen bed, the secondary holds a full and the third bedroom holds a trundle bed with two twin beds.
There is plenty of parking and an outdoor shower so that you can rinse off coming from the beach.
The deck is a great place to watch the dolphins frolic in the morning or to sip a glass of wine and watch the waves roll in.
Being oceanfront, you can't get any closer to the beach!
Guests have full access to the whole house. All living areas, bedrooms, carport on ground floor, and deck with an unmatched ocean view off of the main living area!
Rentals are a 3 day minimum. Please message me if you would like to book a shorter stay in between longer bookings already blocked on the calendar.
Stays include linens (sheets, bath towels and beach towels). Beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards and Shibumi Shade are all available for your stay as well!
High speed internet and WiFi is available throughout the home. Smart TVs are present in the main living area and two of the three bedrooms. We provide Spectrum TV and you'll also have access to your main streaming providers if you would like to login!
We love pets, but unfortunately, they are not allowed.

Can't wait to come back!
House was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 and 7) for a spring break trip. House is so charming and cozy. Being right on the beach was a dream and the sunrise and dolphins made the early-morning wakeups by the kids totally worthwhile. The kids found a shark tooth and whale vertebrae on the first day and spent hours searching for more! The only thing we could have benefitted from was a nightlight in the bathroom and a little stepstool but that's obviously very specific to the age of our kids and something we'd pack for next time. The owner was so responsive we we needed to check in with a question and went above and beyond handling a tiny missing item. We're already talking about when we can go back and stay at the Salty Snail!

Nice house with a beautiful view!
After looking at a few houses to book, we liked the look of The Salty Snail the most! I messaged the host prior to booking and he responded quickly and answered all questions we had. Before our arrival, he sent our check in details and the house was tidy and welcoming upon our arrival. The house is well equipped for a stay without having to pack a bunch of stuff from home! The deck and view are amazing, we will be back!

We loved it!
We stayed at the Salty Snail and have an amazing time. The beach house is beautiful and right on the beach! We had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen and the house is located close to various restaurants. Definitely the perfect way to spend our baby moon/my bday. Will definitely be coming back.

Best Beach House
My group and I are beyond grateful for Brendan's house and for his hospitality. We were so amazed at the beautiful view and can not talk enough about how amazing the backyard is. The straight walk onto the beach and outside shower made our beach day amazing. We had so much fun and the amenities he had for beach days also was so helpful. The house itself had everything we needed as well from a clean bathroom to bedrooms, toiletries and so many linens and towels for us to use. I highly highly recommend any guests thinking of visiting Surf City to choose to stay at Brendan's place and we would also love to come back!

Perfect home, location and host!
I would definitely come back to stay at the Salty Snail! The deck overlooking the ocean was my favorite place to be, and the inside was beautifully decorated. The cottage had all that we needed - and then some, for a nice stay at the beach. Just as important for any stay - you won’t find a better host! I spoke with Brendan at booking, and he was so kind, caring. and helpful! We loved it here!
