Wonderful Home

We had a fantastic week at this beach house. The house is beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. Linen and towels are included as well as several beach chairs. An easy walk to and from the beach and a great view for a second row home.. The owners are very responsive and couldn't be more helpful. I would highly recommend this home for pet and non pet owners.

Fantastic Time At The Coast!

Nauti Surf Shack fires on all levels - open floor plan, beautiful views from all decks, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Love that it's located a short walk from the beach and at the end of a quiet street. Also, the hosts are very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Family fun

Our stay was absolutely amazing. No complaints about anything. We’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always clean, well maintained, adequately equipped with anything you could need. Easy check in, great communication and pet friendly. Easily sleeps 10. Centrally located on the island. Nice wooded ramp to the beach. Wonderful week for our family.

Awesome beach house

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The house is awesome. It is tastefully decorated. There are ocean views from window. This house is stocked with everything tou could think of and some you never thought of. The host were great to communicate with. The walk to the beach is very easy. I would very highly recommend this hoyse.

The Very Best!

As always, Ken and Beth's home is simply the best! We've stayed at many on the island, and Nauti Surf Shack is top shelf! It's well appointed, clean, and stocked; and you just can't beat the location. Truly close to everything. Thanks for another great Surf City vacation--we'll be back again soon!

Perfect stay again!

This was our third stay at NSS and has been our favorite place on TI. We love it here. This house is spotlessly clean and well appointed. We love staying here and feel like it is becoming our “home away from home”. We look forward to staying here regularly!

Family time together

Our three households enjoyed a week away from hectic schedules and this was a great place to do that. Ken was great to work with. Easy walk to beach. Loved decks. The only recommendation is a fan in bunk bedroom, it was a bit warm. The home met our needs, we would stay there again. .

Family fun at the beach

Plenty of room for nine of us, adults and kids. Very comfortable and clean home with easy beach access. The covered carport and outdoor shower was a plus too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Beach House

We stayed in this home 2 years in a row - perfect location and has everything you can ask for in a beach retreat. All the beds are comfy, kitchen is stocked with essentials, proximity to ocean is excellent, they allow our sweet dog to join in the fun, etc. You will love your stay here - 10/10!

Second Stay at the Nauti

We enjoyed home first time and second time actually we as a great or better. Place is well maintained, clean is best of all VBRO places I’ve stayed and the hosts come across as genuine nice people. Excellent place for families even though it was just two. And , our dogs enjoyed sunning on the deck as it provides sun and shade. House has all you need there and did I mention has a great mattress and nicely appointed! Tracy and dogs

Nauti surf shack

The home is absolutely perfect. You have everything you could possibly need and more. Access to the beach is easy. Take their advice and use the outside stairs to load and unload. The home is pet friendly and our little dog had the time of her life. Can’t wait to book again.

Second visit to NSS - as enjoyable as the first

We vacationed at NSS last fall and returned for another week in March. We have found an absolute gem and love it here. The owners, Beth and Ken, are the best. As before, their home was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. It is such a different vibe coming off season. We have been coming to TI for over 30 years, usually in the summer and it is always very busy, but fun, especially for our kids. This year it was just my wife and her mother and sisters, and it was so quiet and relaxing. We all loved it. We are starting to transition into being snow birds and look forward to staying here for longer than just a week during the winter. Thanks again Beth and Ken for sharing your wonderful home!

Perfect place for a late summer vacation

We have been vacationing on Topsail Island every summer for over 30 years and Nauti Surf Shack is the nicest home we have stayed at on Topsail by far! The owners, Beth and Ken, are very friendly and were responsive to any questions we had, making us feel like our vacation was their highest concern. They even generously offered to let us change our stay by a day because of Tropical Storm Ophelia, which hit the day we arrived. Thankfully, there were no issues with the storm, and we had sun the rest of the week. Their home is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated – it is definitely more than a beach house! Although it is a piano key home, there are beautiful ocean views and easy access to the beach. September was a perfect time to visit Topsail – we usually come in July – and we will be back to the Nauti Surf Shack again. We had some family who live in NC visit for a couple of days and they all raved about how nice NSS is. Thanks Beth and Ken for sharing your beautiful home with us - I give it a rating of 10!

Fall Getaway

Cute property very well kept. Good views of ocean and just steps away. Nicely decorated and linen service a great bonus. Excellent communication with owners! This house would be wonderful for big families. As a pet owner I appreciated gates on the deck so they could snooze outside.

Amazing home in topsail

You can tell from the moment you arrive this is a well cared for home not a rental asset controled by a big company somewhere far far away. The owners are amazing and communication was fantastic. This house was actually clean not just tidy and trsh out but actually clean! This is one of the few places I can say id gladly rent again and refer others to.

Best Trip!

So many good things to say, but I will start with the amazing owners, Beth and Ken! Their communication is 5 star, and they truly have thought of everything their guests could possibly want in a beach home/beach vacation. My husband and I travel extensively and have high expectations; Nauti Surf Shack exceeded them all. The house was very clean and well appointed and had every amenity Surf City vacationers would appreciate--a great layout, gorgeous views, easy beach access, comfy beds, and close proximity to everything. We've stayed on the beach a number of times, and this ranks tops as a definite "return trip" VRBO! Thanks, Beth and Ken, for a wonderful week on the Atlantic!
