Perfect stay for 2. We really enjoyed our stay. Short walk to beach access, clean space, it’s a smaller room but decorated nicely with some great amenities like a coffee maker & pods, sugar and cream. We also enjoyed the swing on the screened in porch. They even had a few treats for our small dog Lola who enjoyed them. Very thoughtful and accommodating. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is big! Thanks for our comfortable stay! Also, great restaurants in the area. JM bar and grill on the water was so good! We high recommend that restaurant for good eats! My husband and I will def come back.

My stay was great. The best part of this unit was the screened in porch with the bench swing. It was great to sit out and relax with my dog. The property is a very short walk to the public beach access which was amazing. The room was definitely on the smaller side but it was the perfect size for me and my dog. The only negative I have to say was the porch was right next to the main road. It got very noisey during high traffic. But once in the room it was hard to hear what was going on outside. I would definitely book here again!

Great place for a night or 2!

This place is cute! Loved the screened-in porch that was unique to this unit. It's a nice walk (maybe 10-15 minutes) to shops/food/pier. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The listing is accurate in terms of amenities and the shower is a great size. That being said, the room itself is very tiny! It was a little difficult for my husband and I to maneuver around each other. Also no closet or anywhere to store luggage, which made it feel even more cramped. However, I've read reviews for some of the other units and it sounds like this one may be a bit smaller because of the screened-in porch so I guess it's a compromise (If I were to stay there again, I'd still sacrifice extra space for the porch!). I doubt I'd want to stay for more than a couple of nights just due to its miniscule size, but, overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would gladly stay there again.

Cold but Cozy

We appreciated the location and easy access to the beach. We were not aware that the porch was right on the road. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Since it was winter weather, we would have appreciated some thicker blankets.

We'll be back!

Great location. Easily walk or bike to pretty much anything in Surf City. Nice and clean, and the porch was worth booking the smaller room. I know others complained about noise but we didn't have any problem. On the first day we wished for a hose in the outdoor shower and on day 2 it magically appeared. Our pup especially appreciated this addition.

Great stay overall!

We really enjoyed having the screened in porch allowing us to hang outside after the sun went down. We stayed in #6 last year and loved it so thought the screened porch would be an added bonus to what we experienced last year but we were disappointed in the size of the actual room. There is literally no where to put our suitcases, clothes, snacks etc. We hit our knees multiple times on the corner at the foot of the bc the space is so tight between the bed and wall. The swing on the porch is great but does need more cushioning. Location is great!! Very convenient to beach and walking distance to stores and restaurants.

cute place but needs some work.

I reallylike the place but I have a couple of things that need to be looked into. Under the bed was really dirty. The foi!et seat was way too loose. The password for the tv did not work. Two people for about an hour tried and nothing worked. Last the hot water was really bad. I ran the shower for a half hour and the water was not hot only warm. The sink took a long time to get warm. You should have a hot water heater for this end of the building. It was terrable not to have hot water on a continue basis.
