Great Vacation Spot

The surf City Pier is just 1 mile away. The location on the beach was perfect. It was a great house to accommodate 4-bedroom need.

Great week!

We enjoyed the spacious home. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to stay in and cook but the location is convenient to many nice restaurants for dining out. The living room furniture is a bit soiled in places but we were rarely inside lounging. The deck offers nice views of the ocean.

We were happily impressed with this beach rental! Thanks for making all the basics available- tissue, paper towels, dish soap, salt and pepper, etc., etc. Terrific house, great ocean view, easy beach access, great furniture! Property Management company was very nice and helpful! The best beach rental we've had in years!

Spring break 2022

This week at the song of the sea was the best stay at the beach. My family has not been to the beach since 2019. This week was about family and celebrating my son's his friends graduating this June fromhifh school and the wonderful adventures and memories to. Be made her and I the future. The house meet all our needs perfectly. The views from the decks breathtaking. The proximity to the beach just right. The Carolina retreats staff amazing and atte tice to all my questions and needs. Great restaurants within walking and. Cycling distance. 50 surf bike rental rocky was top not h delivering. Us 8 bikes. Thank you for the best vacation we have had! loved the house and hope to return again soon. -Barbara Ann

It was just okay

Nice view of the beach. Pictures were accurate of what to expect. However, the "Hot tub" is a jetted tub. The washer and dryer were sub par, and the hot water was only luke warm, making it hard to really enjoy a hot shower or bath. We probably won't stay at this rental house again.

Everything was as stated on the site. Beautiful home, decorated beautifully and very clean. Just steps from the beach. First time to Topsail and can't wait to go again. Would definitely recommend this house to others!

Roaches!!!

My family and I stayed at this house and were disappointed at the lack of cleanliness. I was told prior to our arrival that the dishwasher would be replaced on the Tuesday after we arrived. I was told that we would not have to be there. Tuesday came and went and on Wednesday a man showed up unannounced - just walked in - to look at the dishwasher. After an hour he deemed that yes, in fact, it needed to be replaced. Obviously was not done in time for our stay. The last complaint, were the roaches, They really need to be treated. There were a few we saw during the day but a lot came out in the bedrooms at night. The location is very nice and we enjoyed the patio very much. One night I even slept out there after finding roaches on my bed.

Great beach house

Overall we had a great stay and vacation. The only complaints I have is that the cleaning was not done (or seemed like it was not done) when we arrived. The bathrooms looked like they were never cleaned (tubs were still dirty with sand). The shower curtains had toothpaste stains on them and I had to replace the liners in two of the bathrooms because they were so gross (I found new ones under the sink). The tub in one of the bathrooms was clogged and had to ask for Drano to be dropped off. There was still sand on the couch cover in the living room and on the coffee table. I called the office to tell them and they offered to have someone come that day to clean but to be honest, I didn't want to deal with it on my vacation. Overall it was a nice house just a cleaning issue that hopefully won't happen to anyone else. The location was perfect and everything else was fantastic!

Great experience. Perfect distance to the beach.

Great time with our family and dogs. This was the first time we were able to bring our dogs and they absolutely loved it. The distance to the beach was perfect and convenient. Eateries and activities were located very close to the beach house. We had a rental agency bring chairs and bikes which made it a wonderful experience.
