The 3 outdoor decks provide views of the surrounding woods and deer sightings many times a day. The 1 1/2 story home, features the main bedroom with full bath on the main floor. The lovely kitchen, dining area, living room and den all flow together for an enjoyable gathering area. The living room boasts a gas log fireplace. Second story boasts 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. Finished lower level enjoys a large great room with daylight windows, a 3/4 bath, Queen Bed and Queen sleeper sofa as well as a blow up mattress to add 6 more sleeping possibilities. Home is surrounded by lush woods and has a fully fenced rear yard. Very private and quiet. The wraparound porch has an additional eating area for 6 and a comfortable seating area.The rear deck boasts a new hot tub and additional outdoor seating. A Two car garage for your parking needs plus a long driveway that can accommodate 4 cars. Just one block off Lake Michigan

We spent Thanksgiving weekend there with extended family. The house has good quality furnishings and kitchenware. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and is a short 5 minute walk to the beach of Lake Michigan. The owner was very responsive and friendly when I had questions. I hope our travels bring us back here soon.

Home was lovely and accommodating.Location and scenery were wonderful and we enjoyed being able to take walks by the lake.Inside spaces were cozy for leisurely breakfasts.Only disappointment was that the cleanliness of the house was not super. Just needed a deep clean of things like dusty corners, dirty kitchen appliances and mildewed shower curtain.

This is our fourth or fifth time getaway to this house and we hope to be back in the Spring. It feels like home-away-from-home for our family of four. We always invite our parents and this time we were there long enough to dedicate one of the weekends to inviting friends. The house is always well-cared for; communication with host/owner is prompt, warm, and friendly; the front porch, firepit, and hot tub give you everything you need to get away. The floorplan for the main part of the house is perfect for making dinner, gathering, and also finding a nook for reading or napping.

The house was clean, well appointed, and is well taken care of. The hot tub worked and was a very welcome addition after some of the long hikes and walks my wife and I went on. The front porch is the perfect place to sit early in the morning to read, drink coffee, and watch the wildlife. We say numerous deer while sitting on the porch. The area is absolutely beautiful and perfect for long walks. The host was very responsive leading up to our trip and we appreciate the condition the house was in for our stay.

Quiet little nook

My family checked in for a long weekend away before school starts for the kiddos. This cute little house fit the bill. Everyone had their own space and the house was well appointed for all our needs, cooking, relaxing and beach going. We liked it a lot. The kids had a great time hunting for bugs in the yard, and we enjoyed the beautiful porch and relaxing wooded surrounding. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home in a secluded wooded neighborhood a few blocks from Lake Michigan. The accommodations were first class with plenty of space and all the comforts of home. NYE friends trip

We had an incredible New Year’s Eve trip with a group of friends and our two small dogs! The house exceeded our expectations – it was fantastic. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything you could possibly need, including crockpots, large stock pots, and even popsicle molds. The Wii in the basement provided a night of fun, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing! A small tip: consider bringing a few extra towels so you can have dedicated ones for the hot tub and showers while rotating through the laundry. Overall, this was a perfect spot for a memorable getaway!
