Convenience and proximity to the beach was great. The use of Beach chairs was an added bonus and available throughout the day. Large grocery store right across the street was perfect for picking up items for the room. All staff from cleaning team, front desk and pool attendants were all very lovely and helpful. Entry system into the property made me feel safe as well. Generally Holetown was a bit smaller town than I expected. Unless you plan to spend large on meals each night, the options for less expensive meals are few. Otherwise was a good relaxing trip and we enjoyed another part of Beautiful Barbados. The sunsets from our room patio were spectacular!!

Just enjoyed a great week at this property. The rooms are not fancy but they were clean and the proprietor made sure that cleaning and maintenance took place everyday. The view from our ground floor apartment on to the pool and the ocean was breath taking. Kudos to Curly the everything man who was friendly courteous and helpful. Zaccios the restaurant next door served some delicious cuisine and we were able to find full breakfast within walking distance at Cafe Carizma. Will definitely stay there again.

I like the friendly and absolute way the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, after Expedia allowed me to book a two bedroom at a resort that Expedia clearly knew did not have that amenity. I booked with you not the resort, so I depended on your knowledge of the resort amenities. I blame you for this misinformation, not the resort. The resort was clean and have security safety measures to protect their guest I would absolutely recommend Tropical Sunset Beach Apt. Hotel, and the area.

Fabulous location

These self catering apartments are in a great location with a Massy stores opposite and on the bus route. There was quite a swell for the 12 days I was there and the red flag was up on one day when it was particularly rough but was fine for swimming otherwise and is roped off and safe from jet skis and other craft. There is less sand on the beach directly outside due to the storm last year but a line of sunbeds and umbrellas are put out every morning and there was always one free every time I wanted one…however the sunbeds by the pool (no umbrellas) were reserved by guests placing their towels starting from before 6am. The deck area has not yet been rebuilt since the storm. I’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and the location, comparative calmness of the sea and value for money on this part of the west coast is unbeatable. A 3-star hotel in a 5-star location

Despite Hurricane Beryl having an adverse effect on apartments and beach the teams at Zaccios and Tropical Sunset pulled out all the stops to get everything up and running. Absolutely fabulous location but mostly it's the wonderful staff at Tropical Sunset that made our stay so amazing. The best service we have ever received innBarbados! Special mention to Curly who always does what he can to ensure guests can enjoy the beach and sunbeds! Especially sorting beds on the beach for Christmas Day. Unfussy but clean rooms with the most fantastic sea and Sunset views. Thankyou Tropical Sunset for making our stay so wonderful. Jacqui and Chris

Stayed for almost 2 weeks and room cleaned every day, staff friendly and helpful, view was amazing and will be booking again. Zaccios next door is a bonus as well.

The view from the property balcony is lovely, the room was fine and the staff in the main were helpful. The description of on site food for breakfast, dining and drinks availability was false as the adjacent restaurant and bar was closed due to recent damage by Storm Beryl! We had not been told about this and it would definitely effected our decision to book this place had we had known beforehand. The information provided by Expedia leaves a lot to be desired and I am unlikely to use them again. I'm trying to be fair but due to the damage the restaurant was been repaired and we were in fact next to a building site with workmen and concrete mixers on site most days.
