Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa4.0 out of 5.0

Hoi An is great but it's great to have some chill time by the pool or private beach. Full and varied buffet breakfast and good poolside food. Ate out either in Hoi An or local restaurants ( see other reviews). Staff always attentive though we thought our room was a bit tired and dated and quite dark. Hotel gives you free use of bicycles which was great to explore locally but the highlight had to be the one hour motorcycle with side car bike trip. An hour of laughs as our guide showed us around the countryside down winding paths and lanes dodging buffalo chickens and the occasional pile of drying rice and stopping at an exquisite vegetable garden. Worth booking this hotel just for the motorbike trip
The Victoria Hoi An was the perfect place to stay. On the water with excellent facilities and great staff. Far enough out of city center to relax but close enough to get involved. Walk to local restaurants or enjoy the quality food at the hotel. Highly recommend.
Victoria Hoi An was the perfect place to stay being only a 15 minute minute shuttle bus ride from historic Hoi An but on the beach and substantially cooler during the day. The resort is set out in a village-like setting and has an old world charm despite being a modern facility and has a beautiful pool which we stayed next to most days. Beautiful private beach too. We stayed in a beachside suite with only meters to the water which was perfect. The breakfast buffet is vast and the staff are charming and bend over backwards... poolside service was especially quick... something you don't get everywhere. Little touches like the games room and library added to the charm and came in handy forgetting to bring a book along to read. There is only one restaurant but they mix up the dinner offerings with special barbecue and seafood banquet nights and Sunday brunch with free flowing beer or sparkling looked particularly well-attended. Wouldn't look any further on a return to Hoi An
Great spot, lovely staff and facilities. Stayed in a junior suite and the decor and room great . Spacious and your own deck to sit on of an evening. Junior suites are a great choice as are private but close to everything. Lovely pool and beach area nice. Happy hour a bonus and free shuttle into town the wAy to go.
We had a wonderful time at this resort after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We organised an airport pick up and it was on time and the driver spoke English quite well. The hotel is located on the beach, with a wonderful pool overlooking the ocean and a private beach for guests. Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of Western and Vietnamese dishes. All of the staff spoke English well, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely with a comfortable bed, big bathroom and lovely verandah overlooking the gardens and ocean. We were only sad we had to leave after 3 days - looking forward to going back!
Have just spent 9 nights at this magnificent resort. We had a beautiful upstairs river view twin room which not far from main entrance, beach and pool. Staff were so polite, helpful and very friendly, they couldn't do enough for us. Good st both pool and main restaurants was so luscious washed away with happy hour cocktails. A very good western breakfast was had every day with all fresh produce just like home. It was located only a 15 minute taxi or shuttle bus to Hoi An town. Taxi was about $4 each way. Very pleased with hospitality afforded to us. Entertainment was also excellent particularly the couple each night singing - beautiful playing and singing. Just a perfect setting - thank you to reception staff and management for your gifts on arrival and departure. Beautiful people .....
We are 4 days into a 9 day holiday. This resort has great staff, food and amenities. The Beach front villa is well appointed; and the resort is not too far from the old city of Hoi An; with plenty of transport options to get to all the major attractions.
The hotel did a wonderful job of my son's wedding on August 23. The setting was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. Everything was done to the highest standard. The hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating. We were very impressed with the accommodation and service.
My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at this amazing hotel. This hotel cannot be faulted, with beautiful staff, food, pool and an amazing private beach we enjoyed each and every minute of our stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle into the main part of Hoi An but you do need to book this. The pool gets quite busy but the beach is quiet and simply beautiful. We stayed in a deluxe room which was large and luxurious and we had a small sea view. Next time we will definitely upgrade to the ocean view rooms. All in all this hotel helped us fall in love with Hoi An, and we can't rate it highly enough. Also, the buffet breakfast is the best!!!
Stayed here as part of a tour. Our tour company had booked us a standard room, but the hotel provided an upgrade to a deluxe room which gave us almost beach frontage. Thank you very much Victoria Resort. We appreciated it. Our room was large and comfortable and it was lovely to be able to hear the sea. Staff were excellent, as was the food at the resort. We enjoyed a Lion Dance in the restaurant on one of the nights we were there. The swimming pool was fantastic and the surrounding gardens were beautiful. The hotel offers a free shuttle service into Hoi An, but you need to book this. However, it only costs about $5AUD to take a taxi in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
