I stayed with a friend and then on my own, the staff are wknderful, i felt completely at home. Conveniently located, comfortable room, good breakfast, very helpful. I am sure I will be back! Clean room. Great service Good price
What a great place to stay my home for a long holiday. Staff are a great bunch of friendly people, got sick when I arrived got lots of tender loving care for six days many thanks to you all Every day was a great stay
I spent the month of August at the Hai Yen and I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The pool is a great refuge from the steamy Ancient Town and ideal to cool down in after a day at the beach. Breakfast was well cooked and varied with eggs of choice, bacon, pancakes and baguettes. Also plenty of fresh fruit and even pho for those who want it. The entire hotel has had an upgrade and it has made a world of difference. It is well positioned just outside the crowded town centre but a very easy walk to everything and a lot of small restaurants nearby. But the very best thing about the Hai Yen is the staff. Everyone from housekeeping to reception was unfailingly helpful, cheerful. efficient and kind. I don't think I have ever met a nicer bunch of people. In terms of value for money this hotel cannot be beaten. I could never stay anywhere else in Hoi An.
The service was discussing they are very rude every problem that we have they didn't help us. We rent from them motorcycle without gas to go to gas station and we need to walk with the motorcycle in the street. When we ask from them to leave our bags one hour extra they say thats is not possible. We traveling one mounth in vietnam and it was the worst hotel. If i could give tham 0 stars
Liked this hotel a lot very central to old town , the river and the shops and restaurants around it. It is clean and has a good pool which is not too busy, they supply towels for the pool. Staff are extremely helpful. We hired bikes for less than a £1 a day to cycle to the beach which was fun
We stayed at Hotel Hai Yen for 10 days in July 2017 and we love this hotel! The rooms are super clean, the staff is super friendly, and we love the beautiful swimming pool at this hotel. Ho Ann is super hot this time of year and this hotel and pool is like a beautiful oasis! The rooms including breakfast are only $25 per night and the hotel is only a short walk to the central market and many restaurants and cafes The breakfasts here are awesome and abundant with mangos, pineapple and an array of tropical fruits, omelet, pancakes and other fare inc vietnamese noodle soup. Highly recommend this hotel!
Booked thru hotels.com this is a terrific budget hotel . Staff are wonderful , facilities are all you need :air conditioned room , clean bathroom , beds hard but ok. Good big pool , very close to old city - easy walk but can also hire bikes , clientele mostly tourists but some locals stay as well , breakfast included ,👍close to gr8 local food options , would recommend this budget hotel , we loved it🤑😎😀
Perfect place for those willing to spend a night or two in Hoi Han. The staff is very simpathetic and helpfull, there's a nice pool one can refresh after experiencing Vietnam's humidity, breakfast based on fruit. I'd advise management to enhance manutention + some airconditioning in the lobby and restaurant.
There is a reason this hotel have 2 stars rating on booking.com. The rooms and all the furnitures are very old and some bathrooms smelled pretty bad. There are little lizards crawling in some rooms. Totally not worth it!! Spend a little more money on a better hotel. Skip this one!
I stayed three nights, and at $22AU a night you really can't go wrong. The room and bathroom was basic, but the air con worked, it was quiet, and the beds were comfy (comfy enough, for $22!). The pool is certainly an added bonus. Other conveniences included the laundry service, free water refill station, postage services and bike hire. My advice is to take a taxi home late at night, especially if traveling alone. While not far (15min walk) from the hustle of the old town and river area, it gets dark and quiet in the in-between area.
