My husband and I stayed for three nights while on our holiday in Vietnam. It was amazing. Luxury accommodation! The building and grounds themselves are wonderful, looked after really well. We were met with welcome drinks then escorted to our upgraded room! The food and drinks are a bit pricey but the hotel offers a free shuttle into Hoi An where you can eat and drink till your hearts content. I highly recommend this accommodation if you are wanting to relax while on your stay!
We visited this hotel and like some other reviews were disappointed as we were put in a room facing a pylon rather than the pretty gardens of the hotel. The room we had also had a very odd (horse like) smell. We contacted the reception and after a very long time, including our local travel agent contact talking to them, someone finally came up to see us to try and resolve. However they didnt have any other rooms available. The smell it appears was the newish wooden furniture and varnish in the room. It did seem to get better, so I am not sure if the room had not been used/ aired for a while (maybe as it was facing a pylon and not many people wanted it!). That said, the service was pretty good and we enjoyed the pool area and the beach. I would use people at the side of the beach to get drinks as they are much cheaper than the hotel. Also cleaning of clothes at the little shop outside of the hotel was miles cheaper than in the hotel and great value. We also enjoyed some of the food at restaurants opposite, although they were cheap and cheerful. We did use the shuttle bus to Hoi An. On one occasion we had to get a taxi instead (but paid for by hotel) as the bus was full. They also lent umbrella's as it was rainy whilst we were there. The Spa at the hotel was lovely, very pretty and relaxing and I had a great massage. We ate one evening at the hotel and it was OK, but quite expensive for what it was, so we did go to Hoi An other times.
On arrival at the Boutique the staff are very welcoming. While we were waiting for our luggage to be taken to the accommodation we were given a welcoming drink. The breakfasts catered for all tastes, everything from a Vietnamese, English/American, European vegetarian, hot or cold. We have never stayed in a hotel with such variety from a buffet breakfast, eggs and omelet cooked to order and many other hot dishes catering for all tastes, the staff were very friendly and cooperative always wanting to please. A very large immaculately clean swimming pool, with deep and shallow ends. Pool/beach towels provided daily. Room services could not be faulted, room cleaned, bed linen and towels changed everyday. A regular free shuttle service to Hoi An all day. The staff dealt with any enquiry you required. After travelling abroad for over forty years we have never been to a better hotel for the price. All this works of course as the staff enjoy what they are doing and are happy in their work because senior management are very professional and know how to treat staff and guests. We would recommend the Boutique to all friends and family.
Excellent, clean, well priced, and only a short taxi ride into Hoi An. Friendly and helpful staff -- great breakfasts. As far as I could tell I think this was one of the best 4 star hotels for visiting Hoi An.
My wife and I had a five night stay at this hotel we found the hospitality rooms and deco of excellent standard the buffet breakfast plentyful and staff very efficient the outer pool and spar facilities great nice little gym if required.Shuttle bus a fab plus, regular and on time, short journey into town, nice restaurants just opposite hotel food very good particular the fish all in all very enjoyable
Whenever i think if "boutique" , I would think that small scale but fun. This resort does not have the fun feel. You can tell from the architecture that the hotel is rather dated. However, it is very well-maintained and the neutral colour decor of the room is definitely trying to make the hotel feel as timeless as possible. Hence, it makes the hotel feels bland. RECEPTION This is a beach resort and the front desk is an open-air front desk. The staff are busy, brisk and efficient. As you are checking in, they welcome you with a welcome drink. The resort has a regular shuttle bus to town.....and that is very useful. Else, take a taxi for VND100,000. ROOM Our room was room 105. It is on the ground floor with easy access to the breakfast area and pool. Locking the door was a hassle, compared to using an electronic card key. It opens up to a verandah, which also doubles as the door. It is good-size, non-carpeted. Even the bathroom are huge. We had a short-circuit and the hotel was prompt to respond. Bed : Comfortable Sheets : Clean Housekeeping : Acceptable Bathrobes: Provided Bedroom slippers: Yes, but it is not disposables. Umbrella: Yes, essential when it rains. Safe deposit box: Yes Television: Flat screen, mounted on wall. we didn't watch any TV. Tea/Coffee: Yes, with a kettle and teabags, coffee powder provided. BATHROOM Large shower cubicle with rainforest shower Toiletries : Acceptable, with free body lotion in a jar provided. Towels: White, thick and fluffy. BEACH The hotel has her own private beach with towels provided. Honestly, the sand is not white and it is not a great beach, with strong waves. BREAKFAST Good spread. The omelette & soup station is very disorganized, and often, short-staffed. The wait is long and the chef clearly is unable to multi=task. CONCLUSION I would stay here only with the right price. I'd love to check out other places in Hoi An
Very modern and friendly welcome well served by regular shuttle bus into delightful old port town with hundreds of shops! Very interesting historic houses and old Japanese bridge to relieve monotonous streets of same type shops ( unless you’ve come for a shopping tour!). Evening is best to have dinner on waterfront with well lanterned boats floating along the water. Great choice of good Vietnamese eateries. Boutique hotel is only 10 minutes away and is a peaceful base for a busy port town. But weather poor so never had chance to sample pool or beach and left a day early for warmth of Saigon.
We stayed there some nights while visiting Hoi An. Hotel offers good shuttle service so I would always again choose a hotel as remote as this one. What is good about the hotel: Nice rooms, nice breakfast buffet, good value for money. What is not so good: There are definitely places with much nicer beaches at the coast. So if it’s the beach you want I would not recommend. What definitely needs improvement (and made me rate 3 instead of 4): the friendliness of the staff, especially during morning breakfast. This was sometimes very bad.
From the moment we arrived and were shown around by Cam to the moment we left 10 days later we had a wonderful time. The hotel looks wonderful from all angles and our room, just a normal one on the 4th floor, was spacious, clean and well appointed. The food is very nice and well cooked with lots of choice at breakfast particularly. The pool, grounds and beach are kept immaculately and the complimentary bus to town is frequent, on time and brilliant. Best of all are the staff members who are friendly, polite hard working but not intrusive. They are the true stars of this hotel. They obviously love what they do. If you watch them serve someone you will see a beaming smile which stays of their face long after they have left the view of the customer they were speaking to. These are genuine smiles from genuine people not the bland "have a nice day" type of service! If you are about early in the morning you may see the manager going round speaking to his staff as they work, no shouting or berating people but a relationship built on respect both ways and a desire to make this hotel even better. As I left I filled out the hotel's questionnaire and handed it in. Within 30 minutes I had received a meaningful email reply thanking me for taking the time to complete the form. It was also obvious that what I had written had been properly read. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in Hoi An town itself as can be quite noisy. But get away to this hotel and you are a short minibus ride away but living in superb grounds and a quiet atmosphere. Thank you again for a wonderful time.
We recently held a meeting at the hotel and we could not have asked for a better experience. The location of the hotel is beautiful. The meeting room was bright and easily accessible. The food and beverage team went out of their way to make sure everything was spot on. It's proximity to the old town and the shuttle service made it very easy to get around. Would definitely come back.
