Ferienhaus Hohen Demzin

The spacious holiday home (former watermill) is located on an approx. 1800 square metre recreational property for exclusive use in a quiet location. The holiday home was extensively renovated in accordance with ecological aspects in coordination with the monument protection authorities (first occupancy May 2023). In addition, a sustainable use of renewable energy sources was taken into account with the installation of an air heat pump and a PV system, and a small gallery with pictures and text material on the history of the watermill is exhibited in the house. The part of the building that still contains old parts of the mill is not available for hire, but can be visited by arrangement with the owner.

The holiday home extends over two living levels. The high-quality furnishings and two terraces with the lovingly landscaped garden invite you to relax and unwind. W-LAN and an electric charging station for cars supported by a PV system are available. Garden furniture, sun loungers, barbecue, parking spaces and storage facilities for bicycles round off the offer. A small road with little traffic runs between the house and the mill pond.

Final cleaning is included in the total price. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or hire them on site. To be paid on site: Energy and water according to consumption. One basket of firewood is free of charge; additional consumption is subject to a charge.



Klein Köthel is a rural village in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The beauty of the varied landscape can be experienced on hikes and cycle tours in the surrounding area. The town of Teterow with its railway station, tourist information centre, museum, gallery, restaurants and shopping facilities is approx. 3 km away. The neighbouring village of Grambzow is also 3 km away and has a beautifully situated swimming and fishing lake.

Urlaub in der Natur fern von der Hektik des Alltags

Eine gute Möglichkeit, sich von der Hektik des Alltags abzuschalten. Die FeWo ist sehr großzügig und hat alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Nur eine Mikrowelle haben wir vermisst (was eigentlich nicht so schlimm war). Die Lage erlaubt viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen (z. B. drei Seen liegen in der Umgebung). Die nächste Stadt Teterow bietet auch vieles an Aktivitäten an. Ein Auto bzw. Fahrrad ist aber zwingend erforderlich.
