The carpet in the room is old, should be changed Laundry room needs the lint cleared from the back of the clothes driers . The one clothes drier sucked up the allotted coins but would not start. Management did refund me my money that I lost in the clothes drier. The grooves in the shower doors were full of grime. Location of hotel was great.

Very clean. Not fancy. Didn’t need to be. Good sized room. Good location. Near St. David’s Park. Then on 3 minutes to Salamanca. Market on Saturdays. Staff very helpful and friendly. Safe. Only drawback is the lack of variety of restaurants nearby but can get food and groceries I. Salamanca. Near harbor and wharf. I’ve stayed at more expensive places in Hobart but those didn’t have the service and friendliness that they have here.

The hotel was in a fabulous position but most of the staff weren’t friendly. The rooms were ‘cleaned’ daily but the same bit of dirt that was present day one was still present day five. We had to ask for our tea and coffee to be replenished and our beds were brushed over each day. The staff appeared were not friendly at all. Even when we checked out we weren’t asked how our stay was. The staff took our room cards and said nothing. Very disappointed overall.

Very disappointed. The bathroom has been the smallest in my experience in New Zealand and Australia, even smaller than Japan! The carpet is very old and worn. There is no vanity table, only 1 small table. No ceiling lights which the hotel staff claimed was by design. Parking is charged and two blocks away, not easy in the cold. It’s not worth it. The service is ok. Spend your money somewhere else!

We liked the firm comfortable mattress. Shower pressure was great. Buffet breakfast was good, the breaker lady is cheery and very helpful. Morrissey shampoo etc. Room size was adequate for a couple of nights. A larger sized person or tall person would find the ensuite hard to manoeuvre around as very small room. There is only free to air TV. When I asked for soy milk at check-in, I was informed to wait till breakfast where I can get it myself. Depends which staff member you get as to the response you get. Pillows were too soft for us.

Value for money, hotel had microwave, mini fridge and cutleries which was good. Location was 10mins to Woolworths and Salamanca market. No need to hire a car. Walking distance to activities and site seeing. Thank you.

Was reasonable room for the cost, one of the lights didnt work in the room, so only had lamps which was ok for our stay but perhaps not for others. Aircon unit filters were filthy, sticker stuck on big room mirror
