The Space:

Escape to the Black Snake Sky Box by Tiny Away in Granton, only 22 minutes from Hobart, for a relaxing farm stay in a tiny house surrounded by nature and amazing views. Wander through private trails, cosy up by the fire pit, and enjoy hands-on farm experiences including feeding the chickens and ducks.



This 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a comfortable and relaxing holiday homes



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas. This is a self-catering accommodation, so please bring your own food, drinks, and other essentials for your stay.



Advisory::



- Fresh eggs for breakfast are available with at least 24 hours’ prior notice.

- As this is a farm stay accommodation, wildlife and farm animals are present on the property.

- Pets are allowed with 24 hrs prior notice, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Fenced areas are available.

- Farm tour is offered for free.

- We offer bike rental at $20.00

- Firewood is free for overnight guests.

- Transportation to and from town is $50.00 roundtrip

- Breakfast is available upon request for an additional $30.

- Enjoy a rustic breakfast for $25.00 per person, inlcuding eggs cooked just the way you like — poached, fried, or scrambled — served with bacon, sausage, tomato, mushroom, avocado, capsicum, and toast. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options are also available for you to enjoy. Please note that menu items may vary seasonally.

Getting Around:

By car:



- Hobart 20 mins, 15km Granton



By public transport:



- Uber may require walk from end of Coucil road. Though each driver could be nice enough or tippable.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Pets are allowed for a $20 fee per pet, paid directly to the host.

- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving

- No smoking inside the tiny home. Please smoke outdoors and dispose of them in the bins

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
