Beautiful view of the sunset. Mediocre accommodations with VERY thin walls. We went in December and the whole area was pretty dead. Not a good place to stay if you’re looking to engage with others traveling.

Nice and cool homestay

The service was great here - we had our clothes washed, pre-arranged our transfer, and called our excursion motorbike drivers. The place is also really cute and is situated in the beautiful Hoa Lu. If you want to feel Ninh Binh and its nature, this is a perfect place. It’s also a cheap place to stay at. We had a private room and shower, which was a good choice for us because we like our privacy.

A unique experience

What a wonderful place! Quoc Khanh has not only one of the beer views to wake up to every morning, but is backed up by friendly accommodating staff that looked after us throughout. The rooms are basic but really comfortable. Adding this all up the value for money is incredible. Highly recommended!

Fabulous three nights in peaceful bamboo hut

Quoc Khanh was a great choice for our time in Ninh Binh. It is away from the city centre, giving you a peaceful and tranquil village feel. The homestay was comfortable and well-appointed, with all we needed to feel well taken care of. The staff were lovely and very helpful with local tips, interactive, and the family dynamic they added to the stay was welcoming (not to mention their little one is a cutie). Affordable day rates for motorbikes and bicycles that can be requested from the front desk for hire. Unlike other locations we traveled to, here we decided to eat at their restaurant for each dinner. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. We chose to eat Vietnamese only, which was delicious -- we highly recommend this, and there is a large variety of cuisine to choose from, all authentically cooked in house. The menu does offer some Western foods as well, but we did not try any of these. Drinks were very reasonably priced as well. The huts were great value for money, although a little chilly on some of the colder days (but we were there during a colder season which we fully accept). Beds were huge and comfy, large mosquito nets were welcome additions to the four poster beds. Daily cleaning of rooms was a nice touch. All in all, would highly recommend Quoc Khanh for any couple traveling and touring the Tam Coc/Ninh Binh area.

Mysigt ställe mitt bland bergen

Väldigt mysigt ställe som ligger mitt bland bergen. Trevliga ägare som gärna hjälper till. Sängen var extremt skön, bästa hittills i Vietnam. Finns mopeder och cyklar att hyra för en billig peng. Snabbt wifi. Vi bodde i ett bambuhus så det var ganska lyhört men det var väldigt lugnt på kvällarna så det störde oss inte. Vi var här under vår bröllopsresa och de hade fixat till rummet väldigt fint för oss. Enda negativa var väl att frukosten inte var speciellt god.
