I found this place to be a good choice for Ho Chi Minh. It is within walking distance (a kilometre or so) of many of the main attractions such as the War Remnants Museum or Independence Palace, restaurants and bars, etc. The room is nice and spacious and very well equipped. Wi-Fi- was slightly dodgy at times. The air-conditioner is quite noisy. I did find it annoying that they woke me so early every morning to try to clean the room before I was ready to go out or sometimes before I was even up. Even on New Year's Day. Ironically, they were half an hour late with the wake-up call that I requested, it was lucky that I was already up. They also keep your passport when you check in until you check out which I did not like. Despite these small things, I would probably stay again. I really appreciated the airport pick-up that you get when you book through the website. I was worried because my flight was delayed but they were there waiting patiently for me.
This is the 2nd hotel that we stayed, since the 1st one was expensive, small room and bad breakfast. We were so happy that we got free upgrade at Thien Thao Hotel when we arrived. The room we got was clean and spacious. I think the room rate was good for the big room, good service and the location. Breakfast was not bad, but I would prefer more fresh food, less fried food and also, add more food for vegetarians as well. The location is perfect. Close to anywhere we wanted to go (shopping, restaurant, movies,...). Beautiful hotel decorations with big Christmas tree. Highly recommend and definitely come back if I visit HCMC again!
Visited the Thien Hau temple yesterday,an acient and yet very unique temple with nice and colorful carving.Beautiful coiled and other incense.Well decorated.Worth to visit.Must not missed if you are in HCMC.You can buy a small pack of incense(up to you) to pray.Nice posters
The location is great walking distance from everywhere. Great places to eat around and have coffee. It was a pleasure staying there and we had the opportunity to meet Kevin and going around the best local places in Saigon. Our room was a suite and it was really comfortable, big couch, cabinet, bathroom, fridge and comfortable bed. Internet working really good. And we loved the breakfast where you can find local choices as Pho and Bahn Mih and Western choices as toasts and omelette. The information to visit the city is great, maps were really helpful for us. The staff asked us, things to improve? Being honest quality price is really good this hotel and we found a perfect place for visiting Saigon based in our experience.
Nice breakfast, friendly reception, nearby for friends to stop by and convenient for walking distance, the security man let me borrow the safety helmet for motorcycle, I used for rode the motorcycle with my friends, and he said " remember to return it" I said I am staying here, Kidding with him, and he said it is ok, I gave some mangosteen and avocados to some of the people in front desk, Kevin was very nice , I can just let him know and he reserved The room, No worry Thanks hào, kevin , And nice girl at Reception desk
Fantastic hotel and staff were amazing definitely would stay again great location easy to get around, we are coming back next year to stay again would recommend this hotel to anyone, great for singles and families
Room: 305 Stay: 3 days 3 nights (i booked an extra night as i had a 1am flight and the hotel was cheap enough) Place was nice and clean no complaints. Located in the "quiet" area of district 3 only a 20min walk to Ben Thanh markets and 40min drive to the airport.
Had a very bad experience at this hotel because of two reasons. We ordered a trip through the reception & on our way back the bus left us back in the Cu Chi Tunnels. We had to get back on our own back to the hotel. Terrible smoke smell inside the room from other guests smoking cigarettes inside the room.
It was almost a perfect stay here recently from the room- modern, wooden furniture, clean, international tv channels, the breakfast- buffet with large spread compare to la carte breakfast that most hotels here served, the location- 5 minutes walk to Ben Thanh market, the friendly and helpful staff. We paid a bit extra to stay in a deluxe city room with big window rather than the standard room with no window. But our stay was marred street noise throughout the night, even load music at 2am. We barely of any sleep. We have traveling extensively in Vietnam and already get use to the street noise but this is something. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but it is better to request for a quiet room.
I was at Thien Thao for a couple nights over the weekend with no major red flags. The hotel is situated in a great location of the CBD where theres many restaurants and a small shopping mart for your essentials. Only thing i dislike was the toothpaste (which is common in affordable hotels) , which led me to go to the shopping mart (walking distance) to buy my own. The breakfast covered the basics well, however i hesitated to eat the soup and noodles because the noodles were set in the bowls ready made and were left sitting on the bench. Overall i enjoyed it
