4 other friends and myself stayed at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the breakfast generous although more local fruits would have been nice! The locality was close to the market and other sight seeing areas and the staff were extremely polite and went out of their way to help whenever. I would like to mention Mr Tu at the front desk who was particularly helpful and accomodating with our enquiries. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for service and comfort.
Stayed here for 2nights for a total price of approximately $60. This is a far cry from a luxury hotel. I usually like to stay in luxury hotels but since this had a very good price, I gave it a try. Room was big and clean. No window but that's ok with me. It was also mentioned on the booking anyway. I came in from an early flight and they offered to keep my bags for me while I toured the city. There was no available room for check-in yet. Breakfast was delicious with plenty choices - noodles, rice, meat, fruits, sandwiches, cereals, etc. Location was good and accessible on foot to many destinations like the War Museum, Opera House, Post Office, Cathedral, and Book Street. There are also many places to eat along the street of this hotel. The only downside was that the room specifications said no smoking, which is great. Unfortunately, the room I had been given had a strong smell of cigar, even if it had a No Smoking sign. I called the reception and they immediately offered me another room which was much better.
A bit noisy in its location, but cannot blame the hotel for that. clean, room is a bit small, breakfast is better than others in the same category and price range. central to pretty much everything so there is an expected give and take.
We found the hotel good value for the price we paid. Room was clean, neat, good air cond, bathroom ok. Kettle provided but no tea, coffee or cups. This could be improved upon. Breakfast was just acceptable, in fact, I got the impression they were skimping on food and there was never enough coffee or butter. STAFF, very helpful. All of the above aside I would still recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Silverland Inn from the 15.11. until the 19.11. The hotel room was ok for the price paid for and offered all the necessary facilities (safe, minibar, WiFi, etc.) Reception is helpful but not proactive. We had to ask twice in order to have our TV remote-control changed because it was not working. During more than one day we had no warm water. What we highlite and criticise the most is the breakfast service. Breakfast is served from 06.30am to 10.00am but each morning when we wanted to take breakfast (around 08.30am - 09.00am), there was almost no more food, nor dinnerware around. The employees obviously didn't seem very concerned about it. I have to point out that there where two. But neither of them was willed to offer a acceptable service. We had to indicate them to free a table for us, to look for more tea, toast or eggs or dinnerware. Breakfast service has to be improved big time! Nevertheless the location of the hotel is convenient and in the city centre.
I booked this hotel for Nov 15th to 18th 2017 and got direct confirmation from the hotel. On November 14th they confirmed my arrival and next they sent me an email mentioning that they want to cancel my booking because of some other guest !! I mean wtf !!! How can a hotel cancel everything just before 18 hours of my arrival. I got in big pain and I was not able to find a good hotel as all hotels were almost busy. I can never recommend this non professional hotel ! Stay away You can check picture of our email communication
Its location is great, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. My room had a window that looks out to the building next door, but bright enough. Wifi was a bit slow in the room. Breakfast is not something that is presented in the hotel pictures, but edible. You have to be there early enough to have a decent breakfast as they ran out of food after certain times and they don't refill the buffet.
Spent four nights at this hotel for the first time. [Advantages] -Located in the middle of HCM city. -Clean and comfy room. -Tasty breakfast -Helpful staff (especially reception staff) [Disadvantages] -Weak water pressure of hot shower -Very few food left at the dining room at Ground Floor when arrived late(around 9am)
The hotel room was bit small in space but manageable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices. The hotel was walking distance to the shopping areas and the Saigon Skydeck (Bitexco). Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by. The hotel is walking distance to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office. It's a good place to stay overall!
The courtesy and joy of these people from the hostess to get tourists outweigh any waiting. They have done everything they can to be all clean, warm, friendly. The food was so much that I did not get to taste every way in the 3 days of living there, Phong and Yen behaved impeccably and supported me from the beginning with the tour reservations.
