Step inside this private entrance, 1 bedroom first-floor villa located in Palmetto Dunes, ranked in the top 25 by Travel + Leisure as the “World’s Greatest Family Resort” in 2018 and just announced that Hilton Head Island has been named the No. 1 Island in the Continental U.S. in the Travel + Leisure's World’s Best Awards. ***Please note, in order to enter Palmetto Dunes, a gate pass is required. This gate pass can be purchased at the Palmetto Dunes Gate House and is required to be displayed in your vehicle for the duration of your stay. If your vehicle does not have the gate pass displayed, your vehicle is subjected to be towed by the Palmetto Dunes Police.

Villa is very nicely decorated, comfortable and up to date. You feel you’re in a secluded area but close to everything. It has it all. Golf, pickleball, nice walking and bike paths and easy drive to the beach. What more can you ask.

Cozy and convenient

A nice, small 1 bedroom condo just inside the PD entry. It's a perfectly good spot for 1-2 adults. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures are above average. I saw only a few neighbors, even though there were vehicles. I didn't try to use the TV in the living room, but the bedroom TV wasn't intuitive to operate. The main thing I suggest as an improvement is a new king mattress. It wasn't restful, at all. Thanks for making the place available!

Recliner a plus!

The villa was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked although we did not cook. Most of all there was a recliner. When relaxing in the evening there is nothing better than being able to sit and put your feet up. Other owners should take note! Nice walking trail. Short distance to beach.

Beautiful property with all the comforts of home! Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped for an incredibly relaxing long weekend. This was a place where the owners obviously have pride of ownership. Nice, newly renovated and clean. The only 2 things we had an issue with was the mosquitoes and lack of toilet paper. With the mosquito services available nowadays it would be nice to have the garden patio area sprayed but they may have a strict hoa ordinace agains that. We had only one new roll of TP for 4 nights and 5 days but we brought our own as well so worked out; Other than that top notch!

Excellent Vacation

I am happy to report this stay exceeded our expectations. This was our first trip to Hilton Head and what a beautiful place to visit! The condo was pristine when we arrived. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The only suggestion I have (not at any fault of the host since I didn't reach out to ask) is that if you are not renting a car for your stay you do not need to purchase a gate pass. We mistakenly thought the gate pass was needed to enter the villa but it is only needed if you are parking a car. The dune buggy is an incredible service and I highly recommend you use it during your stay. We will definitely be visiting again.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed in this unit for a getaway prior to his upcoming military deployment. It was really nice, as was the entire Palmetto Dunes campus. It was quiet and felt tucked away. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The bed is super comfy. The overall aesthetic of the unit was pleasant and relaxing. Short bike ride to the beach, and the shuttle service was a plus! We would stay again!

This condo is even better than the pictures. It is very clean, comfortable, quiet and pretty. We really enjoyed our stay here. We used the bikes that were provided and enjoyed riding down to the beach and along the beach. Our children stayed in a condo right on the beach and we were very happy each night to return to our lovely quiet condo just a short drive away.

Excellent property for couples!

We have stayed in many different Palmetto Dunes properties over the past 25 years and each one has been nice but this one was absolutely, over-the-top, wonderful! The owner was fantastic, the amenities were super, and our entire experience from booking to departure was awesome! Fantastic condo!

Very nice updates condo. Very clean when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked. The complex was quiet with a mix of owners and renters. Pool was good size and clean. We met some nice people the afternoon we used it. Beach was an easy bike ride away. We had perfect weather so we were there every day. Nice bikes and chairs supplied and to us that was a bonus! Very easy bike ride to the beach, restaurants, grocery store etc. Thanks for offering this condo on VRBO. 5 star for sure!!
