Excellent central location on HHI. Great community amenities and easy pool and beach access. Steve was very attentive when we needed two parking passes rather than one. Each bedroom has a lovely balcony. Beautiful bathrooms. Extremely enjoyable stay.

We love Palmetto Dunes Plantation and Villamare condos. The pool areas and walk to the beach are easy and close. Plenty of room. This particular condo had 2 bikes avaliable and although it was our first time using bikes on the island we completely enjoyed the experience! We explored as much as we could. Time to start thinking about coming to HHI more than once a year!

Great Location and Great Condo!

This was our second year at this location and first year at this specific condo. I was thoroughly impressed this year by the overall cleanliness of the facility. There were people cleaning the public bathrooms, checking the pools, mopping the indoor pool and gardening frequently during the day. I felt the facility was well cared for! This area is extremely safe and family friends! It is within walking distance of a few restaurants, a general store, golf course and tennis courts. There are bike paths everywhere too!! The access to the beach is wonderful - it is a safe short walk. The new pool and pool upgrade are amazing! The adult pool is a great addition! The condo itself had nice updates and was nice access to the ice machine and elevator. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were big and clean. The entire apartment felt comfortable and inviting. I’ve learned over the years to bring some of the kitchen essentials to improve the trip since we make all of our own meals and that proved to be helpful. There is a washer and dryer in the kitchen which is a perk too!! There is safe indoor and outdoor parking options available. The balcony’s (2 total) overlook the parking lot but also include a view of the adult pool and ocean. This facility offers a “Borrow Bin” which is an amazing option for families who don’t want to carry every beach item in their vehicle or don’t have room for them. We will be back and when we do come back we will rent this condo!

Great place to stay

Communication with host was excellent. The condo was well stocked and very clean. The beach was a short 2 minute walk. Both pools were well maintained. The grilling area and fire pit area was well kept.

Gorgeous Location and Close to Everything

This was our second stay in Palmetto Dunes and we loved this property for the functionality of it best. The renovations with the removal of the large tub area in both rooms made the space so much more usable and functional. We cook a lot and there were ample items to cook and bake with as well as a nice pantry to store food. The new pool addition was wonderful and the updated gates and grounds from the fall were delightful.

Great family vacation!

We just returned from a week stay, and everything exceeded our expectations! The property was well maintained and clean. The owner, Steve, was quick to respond to all of our inquiries. Great location, close to the beautiful beach and pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Wonderful condo in a great location

We loved our stay here. The condo was perfect for us - plenty of space, nicely furnished and the kitchen was well supplied. Steve was really responsive to questions and the location was perfect. So close to the beach and pool and really great access to other activities too. Really appreciated having bikes available for use as well. Made for a super chilled holiday ! Thanks Steve.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is wonderful and the unit was clean and even had basic cooking necessities. Our only complaint was the the water pressure in the showers was very high and uncomfortable, especially for children. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip.

May 2023 Visit

We have been coming to HHI for years and stayed at various locations. Villamare is perfectly located in Palmetto Dunes so close to many of our favorite activities and beach bars. The condo was spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and had a nice view of ocean. Our building had a pool, sun deck to lounge and grill. Highly recommended! KN

Condition of unit

Ocean view was misrepresented. The unit was very nice. There needs to be hand rails in the showers and the TV needs more viewing apps. Also, the thermostat is impossible to operate. There needs to curtains in stead of blinds in the bedrooms. Was very clean.

Nice beach getaway

This beach front condo had lots of space and could see the ocean from the rooms. The grounds were well kept and had great excess to the beach. The unit cleanliness was okay. The one suggestion would be to have better linens on the beds. They were thin and did not fit the bed properly.

Convenient Beach Location

We really enjoyed this property’s convenient access to the beach. The on-site pool exceeded our expectations and our adult daughter found the fitness center met all her needs. The condo itself was updated and well appointed. The owner was very responsive when we had a question. Would not hesitate to stay at this location again.
