Sister's Family Vacation

Two sisters with husbands and two children each--stayed here very comfortably. Nice pool, good location to beach, beach chairs etc in closet--very appreciated. Would recommend to families.

Great Location

We loved our stay during a family reunion/Easter trip. The townhome is centrally located to the beach, shops, restaurants and all that Hilton Head has to offer. We will definitely be staying here again.

The condo was perfect for our needs. We had three children with us, ages 5, 9, and 11. The 9 and 11 easily rode bikes to the beach. There are beach toys and chairs and a wagon to carry them. There are three pools in the complex and we visited all of them. The condo is well situated near Coligny and Sea Pines. We had a great time.

Just right

We enjoyed staying at Ocean Breeze! The house was the perfect size for my husband and I, our two teens, and our older parents. The pool was nice and the back walkway to the beach was convenient. We loved biking and walking there.

Lovely family getaway!

We loved our time here with our parents and 2 year old daughter! The unit had everything we needed to cook a few meals. It was clean and close to Coligny beach. I enjoyed talking long walks on S Forest Beach and Cordillo. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Nice Townhouse

This property was very nice with a well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. It was a plus that it was dog friendly! The beach was close enough for us. Restaurants, shopping was close by. The property landscape and grounds were well maintained and very pleasing. Great trip!

Happy to Be Back!

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed in this unit during the Summer of 2019. I love that I am able to bring my dogs and still be in a cozy unit in a nice neighborhood where I feel safe coming and going at all hours. We will definitely be back!

Property could use a good cleaning and updating but overall it met our needs for a great vacation. Parking was a little tight. Walk to the beach was longer than stated but bike ride only took 5 minutes.

Everything was great except beds were not comfortable, the fridge went out. Door was messed up. But I called and they brought out a little fridge for us and fixed the door in a timely manner. It is not a great area. Other than the beds and the small tv Everything was great. I like to lay in bed and watch tv but the tv was so small i couldn't. If I knew that they fixed the beds, I would stay again.

Beautiful HHI rental!

40 Ocean Breeze was perfect for our family of six. The place is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The upstairs bedrooms and baths are fabulous. The downstairs bathroom is a bit small but functional. The owners have provided all of the beach necessities. Parking is a little tight. Our only recommendation for the property was would be to improve the signage on the units and add more lighting for guests arriving after dark. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at 40 ocean breeze

Our family stayed at 40 Ocean breeze and we had a great time. We had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was just right for our group of seven. The kitchen was great for when we cooked at home. It had everything we needed. The pool was nearby and it was a short walk to the beach. We used the 4 bikes provided almost every day. It also came with 4 beach chairs but we did not use them. The condo was very clean and tidy. We liked the condo and we really liked Hilton Head island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is gorgeous. Out the back door is a little lagoon filled with turtles. It wasn’t uncommon to see a little lizard scuttling across the deck. We were a short walk from coligny beach, shops, and restaurants. There are plenty of grocery stores near by as well. There was plenty of space for all of us for both sleeping and lounging in the living room. All of the amenities made it feel like we were staying in our own home. I can’t wait to go back

The beach was walking distance. We had plenty of room for our family of 6. Two of the bikes had issues with the chains, but we called and they replaced the bikes the same day. The kitchen has everything you would need to exist in your home away from home. The unit was as expected. The one issue we had was that the dryer takes quite a while to dry clothes but I imagine that the appliances get a great deal of use.

4th of July vacation

Overall the property was quaint. It could use some upgrades, but was just like any other beach rental. The second floor shower did not work. The beds and pillows in each room needs updating. The downstairs bedroom door does not lock for privacy and the blinds need replacing as it had missing pieces. The pullout sofa bed was really dirty. All of the beds in each room had dirt under them. The next door unit is undergoing repairs and the noise began early each day throughout our stay. Our family would stay again if some uodates were made and the cleaning was updated. The walk to the beach and pool was nice and not long at all, just make sure you have a rolling cart for all your items needed. While I did list a few negatives, we had a great vacation.

Great location; unit needs some upgrades.

Let me start by saying that we absolutely love Hilton Head! The location of this townhouse is perfect. Right in the middle of everything. I will say that the 3 bathroom upgrades were done very nicely. The new living room furniture was well chosen and comfortable. Now for the bad news: the kitchen needs a lot more than just a facelift. The cabinets are old and pretty damaged, the icemaker is inoperable, the stove came apart during our stay and, it’s an understatement if I say that there is an excessive amount of items in the kitchen cabinets (67 coffee cups - no joke). We did speak to the property management team, Island Rentals, and they could not have been any more accommodating. Jay, especially was an absolute rockstar!! We had an issue with the bed in the master bedroom and they did all that they were permitted to do by the owner, swapped mattresses. If you are only staying for a week, you might be able to look past a few of these things, but when it’s an extended stay, a difficult mattress is really hard to put up with. We even purchased an 100 mattress pad in an effort to help the situation. All in all, we love the development and will return…. likely just renting another unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience with island Rentals of HH was excellent. They are very responsive and there were a few issues they had to respond. Sink clogged that needed their attention. They were there promptly Unit is in pretty good shape overall. But kitchen pots and pans are not useable.. scarred rusted Teflon. Every available cabinet is filled with glasses, dishes etc.. no place open for food storage. I actually went to home goods and purchased 3 pans to be used. Complex was undergoing painting. Windows were painted shut so I went and spoke to painters who came over and used their knife to unseal them. Lagoon needs “ work”. Lawn furniture, umbrellas, debris floating around. So that was less than attractive. Location is convenient though.

7 Day Summer Vacation at Ocean Breeze

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is very hard to find even someone who has stayed in Tree Tops/Ocean Breeze before. Upon arrival I had to wipe the kitchen counters down myself with a paper towel and floor cleaner because there was no cleaner in the unit except floor cleaner. No starter items such as dish detergent or any dish cloths at all! Had to go buy detergent and sponges the first evening. The couches were comfortable but also could use a cleaning. The dishwasher was full of DIRTY dishes. Believe the sign on the refrigerator because the fridge took at least 12 hours to get COOL then everything froze! Parking is ridiculously tight! And the 3 times I called (1 to reserve, 2 to complete my payment and 3 to report the refrigerator issue I spoke to a very rude fellow... didn't get his name! Oh and the dryer washed jam packed with lint! Pretty place needs better management and cleaning staff!
