When you book this third-floor condo you will get the best South Carolina experience ever! This family-friendly condo overlooks a gorgeous lagoon from a private balcony, which is also furnished with a small bistro table and a couple of patio chairs. The condo's galley kitchen features stainless steel appliances and light oak cabinets while the living room has ample seating and a wide sliding door that leads to the balcony. Access to the patio is also available in the primary bedroom, which has a comfortable bed and a private bath with granite countertops and a stone-tiled, walk-in shower. All areas have access to free WiFi and doing laundry is easy thanks to a private washer/dryer located in the kitchen.

Get in a game of tennis on a clay court and let your children explore the playground. When you stay at this Island Club rental, you'll be able to do all of these things, as well as fish in the on-site lagoon and work out in the fitness center. Walk to the beach or enjoy the three shared pools. Outside of the resort, you'll find the various shops and restaurants that make up the island. This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hilton Head Island LLC.
The lap pool, kiddie pool, and tanning shelf will close on the evening of October 29, 2023, and re-plaster work begins on October 30. The hot tub will close on the evening of November 24. (Due to the re-plaster work, there may be times when the hot tub is not available.) All pools are scheduled to re-open on March 2, 2024 (date subject to change due to construction).

The heaters for both the lap and kiddie pools will stay on during the spring until the weather changes. The heaters will be turned back on in the fall, depending on the weather.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Lovely condo but…

Beautifully decorated condo in a great location with a short walk to the beach. However, we could not connect to the WiFi because the designated network wasn’t available. Spoke with the property manager and were told she would be over to check it out but she was a no-show. We were unable to work remotely as we had planned. The king-size bed was not comfortable, the thermostat could not be set below 70 and there was no hand soap in the bathrooms.

The check in was a disaster. The code we were given didn't work. We were given two more codes by customer service that didn't work We were standing outside with our luggage in 91 degree heat with a Type 1 Diabetic child for close to an hour. I explained this to the customer service rep and he just didn't care. He said someone would be with us eventually. I asked how long eventually was going to be and he couldn't tell me. I had to hunt down a guy at the rotunda to get us in the place we paid for. When we got in the Wi-Fi password we were given was wrong and the dryer was broken. We've had other small problems with VRBO properties in the past but this was the worst of all. I think we're done. VRBO has just beaten the Hilton Head out of us.

Five night stay in May

Our family of 4 with two small children stayed during the off-season and we had a wonderful stay. The pool was not crowded and there was easy access to the beach which was a huge plus with two little ones. Plenty of seating around the pool area and the grounds were all very clean and pretty well lit at night. We like that it was a gated entry into Island Club. The rooms were very convenient, and it was nice to have an elevator! We had a bit of trouble with our room entry code upon arrival and had to call to get it figured out. After a few new code entry resets by Vacasa rentals that weren’t working, we were finally transferred to the property manager who was able to reset the code for us. The rooms were clean and tidy, but would recommend cleaning the appliances, floors, and faucets more closely. Otherwise we had plenty of space with two bedrooms and the large kitchen space. It’s a great location and beautiful beach area. I would recommend staying at Island Club.

Overall, a very nice condo.

We enjoyed this condo. Overall clean, comfortable and well located in a nice resort ( pool, tennis and many other convenient features), and short walk to the beach. Accurate listing. What you see is what you get. Living room carpet may be nearing its useful life and perhaps due for replacement. We will definitely consider this condo again for our next family vacation at HHI.
