I thought the property was even better than described! It was clean and had everything you could possibly want. We had the best time and enjoyed the beach as well as the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Would love to return!

The house was in a great location. It was a short walk to the beach and very short drive (even walkable) to the Coligny shops and restaurants. Also, the house was clean and the private pool was a huge bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the Oasis

We were so happy with our stay in Hilton head at the oasis. The house was great. The swimming pool and spa were excellent! Definitely an added bonus to the house. The management from Beachside Getaway were excellent. Any questions we had there was always a prompt response from their team.Looking forward to our return.

Great location with an easy walk to the beach as well as Cagney. Had everything we needed to have a great vacation, we cooked many meals at home and enjoyed eating poolside

Excellent place to stay

12 park place was awesome. The house was clean and just like the pictures, we had a long journey and arrived earlier than expected but we were able to check in 30 mins early which allowed us to unpack and start our trip right away! Plenty of towels! Pool was great, during our trip toilet was leaking, it was fixed within the hour. Short walk to the beach, can't say enough about how great this place is, definitely recommend if your in the area!

The Octupus house

The house was fantastic, easy 2 minute walk to the beach. The outside amenities were incredible and the people at Beachside Getaway were constantly checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our time at the house. I have to say one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. After spending the day at the beach we would come home (it felt like our home) eat dinner and just relax and lounge by the pool or watching a movie on the outside screen eating pop corn, Highly recommend you give it a try. We will be back.

Family Vacation

This was our first time visiting HHI and the property was in a great location. The walk to the beach was short and being able to walk to Coligny was great. The pool and outdoor area was also great for hanging out and spending lazy days. The property management was great to work with. They were quick to respond when we called with questions and would follow up. My only complaint would be the house needs some minor updates. It is currently listed for sale so this might be the reasoning but simple things such as missing/broken blinds, needing a new shower head in the guest shower, or the projector remote not having batteries in it (not dead batteries, just no batteries at all). Not major issues, the property overall is great but small things that would make it better.

Amazing location and setup

I've been renting on Coligny Beach for six years in the same price range. This property was the family's favorite. The pool/backyard is sunny and well kept. The location is perfect. The house itself is equipped with many small extras that made the stay easy and stress-free. Property management company is excellent as well.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Enjoyed the outdoor living space with the family. Time in the spa was relaxing! Rode bikes to local shops and restaurants. Even walked to the beach a few times to enjoy the perfect weather on our stay.

Great house in a FAB location!

We really enjoyed this property!! The house was clean, had everything we needed, beds were comfy! The backyard was relaxing and spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub and lounge chairs! This house has an incredible location! If you love to walk, We walked to the beach (4 min, easy walk) and to Coligny Plaza often! Lots of shopping and restaurants at the Coligny plaza. Probably a 10 min walk, shaded path most of the way. (Fish was our fav restaurant in the plaza) Thanks for a great week! Loved the house! Would love to return one day!

Great house for small groups!

The house is perfect for two couples. It has a great location as it is a short and easy walk not only to the beach, but also to dining and shopping. The pool and hot tub were great. We’ll use the property again when we return with a small group

It was PERFECT!

We were steps from the beach, the neighborhood was quiet, shopping was close, and the property management team were communicative and responsive! EVERYTHING we needed was there, if we didn't have it! We went through VRBO once before, so we're two-for-twp now!

Perfect house and pool, close to beach and Coligny Plaza

Our family of 4 (including 2 young adults 20 and 18 yrs old) absolutely loved the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side but there is plenty of space in the living, dining rooms and kitchen… and the outside area is fantastic. The pool is huge, perfect for swimming and playing:) The house is well appointed, we cooked several days and everything we needed was there. The proximity to the beach is also a delight, a few minutes walk in a mostly shaded area before getting to the sand. We made great memories at the Octopus Oasis:)

very nice pool

The pool is fantastic. Location is fantastic. House needs some work; it seems neglected. No place to store clothes that cannot hang. Has a lot of potential. We stay at HHI twice a year, this was our first time in this house, and I was disappointed with the home itself.

Amazing Location and Amenities

Our family of 5 (3 boys - 13/11/8yrs) loved this property. The outdoor pool and hot tub were just as described and pictured. The hot tub heat did not take long to come up to temperature. We did not heat the pool but we were able to go in on warm, sunny days. The location is perfect! Just a short walk to the amazing beach for sunrise and all day hanging out. We saw crabs, sand dollars, jellyfish and starfish. The Colgory shops are just down the road with fun ice cream and souvenir options. There was so much to do just in this location. The house meet our needs. It had plenty of towels and an arrival welcome gift. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Nearly Perfect!

First and foremost, our family had a great time staying at the Octopus Oasis! We loved the heated pool and hot tub, and the close proximity to the beach, bike paths, and shopping. It was a great place for our family to escape the frozen northland of Minnesota, that we call home. That said, we felt there were a few things that could be improved upon to make this place even better. First, hang real curtains over the windows, preferably blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Next, have the outdoor shower plumbed to provide both hot and cold water, instead of just cold. Lastly, and probably least important, but a nice touch that we have enjoyed at almost every other property that we have stayed at, provide either a few Keurig pods or a small container of coffee so that travel weary adults can enjoy a cup or two without first having to make a trip to the store. All that said, we would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a great place to stay on our very first trip to South Carolina!

We will be back!

The property was fantastic! Very clean inside and out. The pool and outside area were fantastic. It was very convenient to coligny park and to beach access. We also rented bicycles and that is a must from now on. The only complaint if any would be the room sizes are a bit small with almost no storage but that’s getting super picky. We would recommend 10 out of 10 to stay here!
