This 5 bedroom vacation home is located in the Sea Pines Resort, just 3/4 mile from the famous Salty Dog Café (a 5 minute bike ride). It is across from the beach access (157 ft from the back door to the access) and is on the sea pines bike path. There is also a fishing spot on Sprunt pond one block away.

This old school beach house has been completed remodeled. The house is well situated for multiple families to share a week at the beach, sleeping 17 in 5 bedrooms with 5 baths. It is also handicapped friendly with no stairs for the main living area and two bedrooms.

The great room is spacious and perfect for your large family gatherings. There are three sofas (one is a sleeper) for plenty of comfy seating and a 58 inch smart TV with separate HDMI and USB connections for all of your devices. Fill the house with music using the built in Sonos sound system, playing music directly from your phone/ipad using your music library or streaming services. Or go old school with your entertainment, grab a board game from the cupboard and play at the game table.

The home has a gourmet kitchen that is ready to host large family gatherings. It won Best Kitchen redesign in 2018 Island Builder Awards! The kitchen has Thermador ovens and cooktop for the serious cook. There is a wine chiller and beverage center in the island to leave plenty of room in the refrigerator for food. There is also an extra refrigerator in the garage. The dining table seats 10. Additional guests can be seated at the kitchen island (8), family room game table (4) and patio table (6). The Dining, Great Room and Kitchen are all on the ground floor and handicapped friendly with no steps to navigate. The dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and den bedroom have doors out to the patio.

The home has a screened porch with full size pool (pool can be heated for an additional fee), so if it’s raining or buggy at the beach you can still enjoy the pool. The pool has a basketball goal for sporting, or just float around. There is a Weber gas grill and a Kamodo Joe (Like a Big Green Egg) on the grilling patio just outside the porch. Comfy deck furniture and a TV make it a great place to lounge while watching the kids play.

It's an easy walk to the beach. The beach access is 157 ft from the pool deck. You'll be on the beach in 3 minutes soaking up the sun. Or you can ride your bike 3 blocks down to the Tower Beach Club which has bathrooms and a picnic area. (Car parking is for Sea Pines owners only).

There is a 50 AMP level 2 EV charger in the garage. Tesla owners will need to bring their adapter. The garage also has beach chairs and beach carts for guest use.

Check out time is 10am and check in time is 4:30 pm. Your beach house will be "move in" ready with all beds made up with fresh linens. There will be bath towel service for the number of registered guests (beach towels are not included). You'll have a starter set of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms: Dish soap, dish towels, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, toilet paper and shampoo.

Empty out pool deck cooler, drain the water and leave the top open so that it can air out (not get moldy). Clear all trash out from the deck. Throw away any broken pool/beach toys

This property has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach and convenient to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The home is spacious and easily accommodates large groups, making it a good option for families or multiple couples traveling together. We also appreciated the renovated kitchen, which was modern, and the beach supplies provided were a helpful bonus.However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The home was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival — we found old water bottles under the couch, dust bunnies throughout the house, and cigarette butts outside by the pool and on the front porch. The towels were stained, some smelled of smoke and did not feel clean. The pool area did not drain, even on days it did not rain. Anytime it was used, standing water remained in deep puddles around the area, making it slippery or sloshed back into the pool leaving the water dirty. It required daily pushing of water out the door. The washing machine did not work at all during our stay. While the owner communicated well and acknowledged the issue, it was never fixed, which created an inconvenience for our group.In summary, while the home has great potential and the owner was responsive, the cleanliness, pool drainage and lack of basic functioning appliances were a drawback. With better upkeep and attention to detail, this could be a fantastic rental, especially given its location.

Perfect Four Generation Family Vacation Home

Our family (14 in all) including 5 grandchildren from 1-15 years old and Grammy at 92, thoroughly enjoyed 1 Bald Eagle Drive W. The renovation of the breakfast nook to a grandparent room was perfect for great grandma Joyce. The teens enjoyed staying in the bunk beds with their cousins’ family and the five bathrooms gave everyone great privacy. We have stayed at many vacation homes over the years and all three of our sons commented that this house was the best supplied. Location was the best thing about this house. Right on the bike path for lots of walks, a few yards from the beach access path, and on a very quiet cul de sac that was great for Grammy and her little walks. The beach was close enough and had such a solid path that Grammy walked there with her grandchildren and great grandchildren three times! The family area was great for dining in which we did all but once. There was a table for our puzzle and the dining table was great for games after dinner. The screened in pool was a hit and used daily. What a wonderful week we had! The hosts had great recommendations for restaurants and events throughout the week. The tie dye T shirts and Dolphins and Donuts tour were a favorite of the teens. The beach was so large and clean that we went every day and went back after dinner several nights. We always had plenty of room to set up and enjoy. The one bummer was a washer leak from day 1 but it was useable and a holiday week so it couldn’t be fixed. Terrific hosts!

Beach access was close enough and well maintained so that at 92 Grammy could go to the beach 3 days!

Dolphins and Donuts was a great trip for everyone! Lots of dolphins who also came to the beach one day!

Loved our stay at Eagle’s Nest

We can’t say enough good things about our week at Eagles Nest! The house is beautiful, especially the kitchen! The great room is spacious. Our large family enjoyed our time there playing games. The pool is perfect to dip in after a day at the beach. Perfect location in Sea Pines with a path not far from the beach and close to The Salty Dog. The Sonos sound system throughout the house was an awesome amenity and easy to use after downloading the app! The hosts were excellent with communication. They (and their sweet house cleaner) went above and beyond to help us with a sentimental item that was left behind. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! The house is amazing and so easy to get to the beach! The younger kids loved the petting zoo and the older kids loved horseback riding. Salty Dog was a ton of fun too! The beach had very few people on it, we often felt like we had a whole area to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever want. The enclosed pool was a lifesaver when the adults were done with the beach but the kids still wanted to get wet lol Everything about this vacation was perfect!
