Tucked along the shores of Long Lake, The Breakaway is a private Northern Michigan lakefront getaway designed for relaxed days on the water and easy evenings spent together. With 100 feet of frontage, room for up to 11 guests, a separate bunkie, game room, covered patio, 2 kayaks, 1 paddleboard.

The Breakaway was made for classic Up North lake vacations with family and friends.

Enjoy sunrise coffee while listening to the call of the loons, spend long summer days swimming, kayaking, or fishing from the dock, and wind down around the lakeside firepit under the stars. The Breakaway is designed for easy lake living, with comfortable gathering spaces, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of room to relax after a day on the water.

Sleeping Arrangements

Primary Bedroom: King bed with attached bathroom and laundry access. (New master bathroom refresh photos coming soon.)

Lakeside Bedroom: Queen bed with peaceful lake views.

Woodside Bedroom: Queen bed overlooking the trees.

Living Spaces: Open living room with lake views and a twin sleeper chair, large dining area, fully stocked kitchen with breakfast nook, and TVs in all bedrooms.

The Bunkie

A favorite space for kids and teens, the separate climate-controlled bunkie has its own cozy hangout feel.

Waterfront Access: 100 feet of frontage on beautiful Long Lake with a sandy, shallow shoreline and clean, clear water great for swimming.

Private Dock: Spacious dock with seating for reading, relaxing, or enjoying the sunrise over the water.

Covered Patio & Firepit: Covered patio with fire table and outdoor dining for up to 10 guests, plus a separate lakeside firepit and deck overlooking the lake.

Lakeside Deck: Additional outdoor dining table with seating for 4 overlooking the water.

Lake Toys: 2 kayaks and 1 paddleboard included with your stay.

Pontoon Boat: Available for an additional rental fee.

Comfort & Convenience: Central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, blackout window coverings for restful sleep, BBQ grill, laundry access, and TVs in all bedrooms.

5-night minimum stay during June, July & August.
