We had a lovely weekend staying in woodlands Barn despite a rather snowy time whilst there ! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need with wonderful views over the local countryside. The owners were very helpful and fantastic at keeping in touch especially with snow updates and nothing was too much trouble . Would definitely recommend.

Woodlands Barn is the perfect place to chill and relax.
Woodlands Barn is the perfect place to chill and relax. Because it's near the top of a hill the views are stunning. A steep walk up from the village.Everything you could need is provided. Including a welcome pack and treats for four legged visitors. The outdoor space is lovely a great way to start the day with a cuppa on the terrace. There is plenty of walking nearby and info on places to visit. We had a lovely day at Lyme Park which is short drive away. The local shop in the village stocks most things and the cafe has delicious food and coffee. Will definitely recommend Woodlands Barn to friends and family.

Beautiful secluded cottage with plenty of amenities (Tesco, Aldi, pubs and restaurants) only a short
Beautiful secluded cottage with plenty of amenities (Tesco, Aldi, pubs and restaurants) only a short drive away. We had a lovely break with family (4 adults and a dog) celebrating a birthday. The cottage had everything you would want and more and even though the weather wasn't great it didn't stop us getting out and about exploring some of the lovely Market Towns close by eg. Buxton and Bakewell and when the weather picked up there was some lovely walks which the dog loved.. After a day out it was lovely to return to the cottage for a glass of wine ot two and had fun playing some of the many games provided. We were already talking about returning next year before we'd even left.
