Cozy cabin with lovely view
This cozy cabin worked out pretty well for our family of four plus dog. The owner was awesome and responded very quickly to all questions.
pros:
-lovely view
-nice hot tub
-dog friendly
-clean
-washer/dryer
-two living areas
-multiple televisions
-excellent response time from owner
-large deck
-air-conditioned (although we did not need it in May)
-close to town of Hiawassee
-lots of privacy and trees
cons:
-the yard was smaller than it appeared in the pictures.
-the main living area and kitchen are pretty small (but functional)
Good to know:
-road to cabin was not mini-van friendly; we made it up and down in lowest gear, but it was not fun. The last mile or so is narrow, windy, and very steep. Our Honda CRV handled this much better than the mini van.
-TV is YouTube TV (lots of channels available)
-internet was good throughout most of the cabin
-there is not much space to walk a dog--the road is very steep and narrow, and the yard is very small--but our dog loved walking at the rhododendron garden in town.
-good cell reception with Verizon
