Una verdadera experiencia de cabaña de troncos

La familia Moody, por la cual se nombra a Moody Hollow, construyó Adanayla en algún momento a principios o mediados de 1950. Nos encanta la historia y los recursos naturales de los Apalaches del Sur y ese amor se refleja en la decoración de la cabaña. Muchas de las antigüedades en la cabina datan del siglo XIX de las regiones de los Apalaches de Tennessee, Georgia y Carolina del Norte. Si bien la cabina puede tener más de medio siglo, todos los electrodomésticos, plomería y electricidad son nuevos. Ahora estamos felices de poder compartir este lugar mágico con otros. Adanayla es una cabaña que admite mascotas y se agregará una tarifa única por mascota si traes a tu (s) perro (s).

Un dormitorio, la televisión (solo películas) y la lavadora / secadora están todos abajo. Recuerde que no hay servicio de WiFi o satélite en esta cabina. ¡Prepárate para desconectarte y relajarte! El acceso a la planta baja es a través del porche protegido y bajando las escaleras exteriores. ¡Asegúrate de llevar la llave!

Datos interesantes La cabina se alza a más de 2000 pies sobre el nivel del mar, pero justo arriba de la carretera es el punto más alto de Georgia, Brasstown Bald, que se eleva a 4,784 pies. High Shoals Creek, que atraviesa Moody Hollow, ha sido una fuente para la cría de la trucha de arroyo indígena.

Camine por el camino a lo largo del arroyo hasta llegar a la última puerta. Llegarás a un pequeño sendero privado. Siga este sendero y lo llevará a las hermosas cataratas High y Lower High Shoals Falls y al espolón del sendero de los Apalaches. ¡Las cataratas están a solo 15 minutos a pie de la cabaña!

Host was excellent. The cabin was cozy and nice. It would be great if it had more heating elements available though. It was uncomfortable at night even with various blankets.

Location

Davis cabin is in a great location. It’s off the beaten path but 20 mins from downtown Helen! It’s a private location. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only complaint I have is that the only TV is downstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Very, very old

This rental needs a lot of work. It was really clean inside but the outside deck is awful and the outside windows and screens need desperately to be cleaned. We had a hard time getting past the odor and I guess what is just mold and age. The location is great and we loved the creek running close by. Probably won't stay here again. WAY OVER PRICED for the rental quality.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Adanaylah was just as shown on the website, and it was a wonderful "travel back in time" experience. We brought our dog with us and he seemed to enjoy himself as well. You can hear the creek running from the screened in back porch and it's very calming. Beds were comfortable and we found everything we needed while there. If you have old enough children, they can have the downstairs to themselves and you can still check on them from the upstairs hallway where there is a grate in the floor to communicate, our kids loved having their own space! Would definitely stay at this cabin again! Georgia Mountain Rentals is the ONLY company we will book with, they truly treat their guests like family and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Great stay, but...one significant complaint with the bill

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Adanayla cabin was great. But...I stayed for three nights and almost 40% of the total cost was all overhead & additional fees. So, the cabin ended up being much more expensive. I left the cabin in immaculate condition & I don't feel like I should have been charged $144 for cleaning fees. I ended up doing the dishes, stripping all the sheets, etc. I'm not sure what the cleaning lady did, but it certainly wasn't $144 worth of work. I probably will not rent a property from GMR again just because all of the additional fees & unnecessary charges. Cleaning fees should only be charged for extended stays &/or if the cabin actually needs cleaning after the stay.

Comfy Stay with Quality Touches

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice. Attentive management gave accurate directions, and made sure we had everything we needed before and after arrival. Quiet, cozy place with quality cookware and comfortable beds. Nice short hikes to waterfalls. Note: It was cold when we arrived and takes a while to heat the place up, but seems to hold the heat well once warmed. Shampoo is not included and stores are a few miles away so be sure to stop for groceries, etc before arrival.

Oktoberfest experience

We stayed in the house just to sleep after a long day of touring Helen and wineries. It was as hard to find the location where address says, we end up asking neighbors where it’s at . The cabin was quiet but due to age , it had musty odor. The basement room was not too secure for everyone as it’s totally separated and requires key to get upstairs. Overall the weekend stay was ok .

Perfect mountain cabin getaway!

This was the perfect cabin for relaxing, chatting, and playing games with our friends. Also conveniently located near Helen and gorgeous hiking. Would definitely go again.

Nice place and great location for outdoor activities

Overall, my group and I had a good time at this cabin. The cabin was supplied with everything you need and was clean. It's also in a great location for outdoor enthusiasts. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are spread out. One of the better waterfalls in Georgia is also a close walk from the cabin. The only downsides were there's really no yard and the downstairs bedroom/tv room is a little claustrophobic. Kids may get a little bored, so just bring tablets/books/games for them. The gas fireplace wasn't working and maintenance responded quickly to try to fix it, but were unable to. Cell service is very limited in the area, however the cabin has wifi. If you don't mind a slight rustic feel to your accommodations, then you'll enjoy this cabin like we did.
