Lovely stay in a 2 bed self-catering apartment right in the heart of Hermanus. Private shaded parking, lovely staff and the apartment had everything you need - including a huge gas BBQ on the patio. Very comfortable beds, and excellent air con in the master bedroom

The Esplanade Hermanus has a great location with underground parking for guests. 2 minutes away from the "high street" with a range of small shops and eateries. We were met at the road side, shown to the car park from which we had a smooth and professional check in. Our appartment was nice, clean and welcoming. The main issue was a safe in the kitchen cupboard - unsecured to the wall. Not very safe!! Overall a great base to use for two nights in Hermanus.

Our condo was complete with brand new appliances (including a washer and dryer!) and the entire apartment was spotless!! The employees were all very helpful and friendly and we were always greeted with a big smile!

Great size rooms. We had a sea view which was great with a big balcony. Useful to have kitchen facilities and bedroom and en suite were modern. Not a major problem as we only stayed 2 nights but the wardroom shelves couldn’t be used as the bed was in the way of the wardrobe doors opening. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. No food is available although there are kitchens in the rooms and restaurants nearby

Excellent apartment. Situation overlooking the sea, very convenient for shops and restaurants. Staff super helpful and friendly. Private parking. Apartment was lovely and clean with all amenities required. Tastefully furnished, ample towels and toiletries. Only slight issue was the gate to the parking lot not closing but was assured this would be fixed. Would certainly recommend for a Hermanus stay.

super comfy and great location

loved our overnight stay, wonderful views of the ocean and mountains. the unit is beautifully decorated with everything you need. very central and easy to walk to restaurants etc. staff were excellent, very helpful. only point to improve is on sustainability, be great if drinking water was not in plastic bottles and invest in coffee plungers rather than disposable pods.

Staff were friendly and did their best in the unfortunate situation which was out of their control as power was off when we arrived. It was due to planned maintenence which was due to be completed sooner than 9pm when electricity was eventualy restored. On the second day the electricity switch on the DB board also tripped due to a faulty toaster which apparently happened previously but was not investigated thoroughly Overall the stay was good but could have been excellent if electricity problems was not present

A toilet with a view

We chose this location because of the nice finishes and great location. While the apartment was generally if a high standard, the toilets are located in the bedrooms and not in the lounge communal area. The sliding door to the toilet/shower room has a 1cm gap all around, offering no privacy for those in the toilet nor in the bedroom. A little awkward for everyone.

Everything was fabulous! Staff are friendliest ever and everything in apartment looked brand new - high quality finishes etc. We were allowed to check in as soon as our apartment was ready and we could leave our car in parking garage till 1pm on day of check out which was also very helpful.
